Back up camera issues
[...]I had high hopes for this due to all the great reviews but I’m having issues with the backup camera. First there are no install instructions. It turns out you have to screw holes into your vehicle. My previous backup camera fit onto my license plate holder. Also the quality is not as good as my previous camera. Then, the camera is on a spring so it angles up with no way to fix it down to point correctly. Really bizarre and I wonder why no one else has commented on this weird spring mount. Then, I don’t know how to get the reverse guide lines to appear.The Apple CarPlay feature works fine but not bundled with the backup camera. I’m going to have to return it and find a better quality camera or reinstall my previous camera, but I would really like to have the Apple play feature.

[...]Doesn’t work with a fast charger usb c cable but works with a slower one or the one provided with the purchase. I like how big the screen is, more visible than looking at the map on my phone. Purchased this to get a backup camera since my 2011 Nissan doesn’t have a backup camera. Backup camera lines are very useful. Pairing with Bluetooth cell phone is very easy.

Perfect Addition to My Car!
[...]I have mazda 6, 2012 model. This stuff is fantastic! My car fits it wonderfully, and it’s quite comfortable to use. It is easy to install and takes up little room because to its small size, and the adjustable mount. Also it connects smooth. I can use car play to navigate around easily. I don’t have to hold my phone now for the maps while driving. What a relief. I would highly recommend it to the people with older model without car play.

Fantastic Functionality and Convenience; Can Be A Little Finicky
[...]One of the frustrations that I’ve had with my car is the lack of modern features, despite it being a pretty modern car (2018 model). For the past two to three years, I’ve been using a Bluetooth AUX adapter to play music in my car, but I’ve been seeing this product and ones like it being advertised everywhere. I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this one for myself for about $45. When it works as intended, it is one of my favorite purchases that I’ve made over this past year. It’s convenient and user-friendly (once I initially figured out how to make the minor adjustments it needed). I only have two minor complaints. The screen is not quite bright enough for my liking during the daytime, which can lead to it seeming very dim when the sunlight hits it. However, I understand that that level of brightness would be blinding at night, so I’m personally fine with it. The other issue is somewhat annoying, though. It will sometimes fail to connect to my phone automatically as it should. It’s like the Bluetooth functionality just stops working. This usually occurs after a while away from my car, but I’ve had it do this after it was connected with no issue before I went into a gas station to get a drink. Frustration aside, though, it’s a simple fix. I simply unplug it from my car’s cigarette lighter/charger and plug it back in, which solves the issue immediately 90% of the time. Sometimes I have to do it twice to fix it, but then it works fine.

[...]This device works amazing! Perfect to update any older vehicle! Im using it in my 2015 Mercedes GLA250 4MATIC! I actually attached it to my in-cd phone holder and instant upgrade! I use the the factory screen for the backup camera and this screen which is basically the same size screen sits in front of the old cd player/controlls which aren’t used anyways. Plug into car lighter, connect with blue tooth that’s it. Starts up every time I start the vehicle fast!!! 👍🏼👍🏼

Best budget carplay / android auto device
[...]Easy to install. All function perfect. Backing camera is a real must have for old vehicles. I also like the feature that when it’s connected to a phone, you can also connect the phones Bluetooth to the main car console. Possible improvements: 1st, it somehow interferes with the old GPS so I have to install them with a 2 ft distance. By doing so all work perfectly. 2nd, this thing has a quite large screen so adding a divided screen (for instance navigation / rear camera view) would be much nicer. But for the price and hassle free installation I can’t really complain.
