How did we get our start?
Our founder, Mallory, struggled with dry skin all her life. After trying prescription and non-prescription remedies, she decided to explore different exfoliation techniques practiced by cultures around the world.
What makes our products unique?

Use a face cloth instead!Thought the sponge provided a very gentle exfoliation but it got stained very easily and was impossible to clean – I tried handwashing with makeup brush cleanser, then facial wash, then laundry detergent, then dish soap….nothing would get it clean. It also started to breakdown and disintegrate as I used it. Definitely not worth the money – I threw it away as I felt like I was washing my face with a dirty sponge.

These keep your skin really refined. If you double cleanse your skin, you can skip that 2nd cleanse by following with this. It keeps my pores clear and my skin so smooth. I got my daughter hooked on these, as she works outdoors. Amazing!!

Does not exfoliate
[...]I bought this with high hopes because I hate using exfoliating scrub, but this sponge does not exfoliate at all. I couldn’t even get the sunscreen off my face with this sponge, even after adding soap.

Not What I Expected
[...]I am a huge fan of wildpier mitts and have used them for a few years. I hoped the sponge would be like the mitts but maybe not as abrasive, for use on face/neck. Not only is the sponge smaller than expected, it doesn’t really give the good exfoliation I was hoping for. As someone with PCOS and KP, the mitts have been a total game changer for exfoliation. I’m saddened that the sponge isn’t up to par.

Disappointing 👎🏼
[...]Let me start by saying that I love the Wild Pier exfoliating glove, so I was optimistic about this product. Unfortunately I was sorely disappointed. The claims that this sponge is good for removing makeup and gently exfoliating are inaccurate. It did not remove my makeup, it just kind of smeared it around on my face. The texture once wet was kind of slimy and really squishy with no exfoliating ability. Ultimately it left my skin feeling kind of icky.

[...]I really wanted this to work. I followed the directions, just get it wet with no soap on it or your body & use. It didn’t seem to exfoliate the way they show in the video just kind of felt scratchy. It is fairly small/tight but I haven’t tried hot small hands so that was fine for me. I like that it’s natural just not sure it actually does what it’s supposed to & I really wanted it too.

Doesn’t really exfoliate..
[...]I was so excited to try this sponge. I have the Wildpier body scrubbing mitt, and I love it, but the sponge was underwhelming. I have Keratosis Pilaris, and it didn’t feel like it exfoliated my face at all. I would recommend using one of their body mitts instead
