Scarred by her past, she’s done her best to lead a normal human life. Thanks to a potion that suppresses her magic, nobody around her has a clue that she’s a werewolf.

Until…

Her potion supplier disappears, her family reestablishes contact, and a mysterious werewolf with a metal detector and a penchant for calling her my lady saunters into her life.

As if all that weren’t enough, someone from her past is trying to kill her. Someone dangerous.

To survive and figure out what’s going on, Luna will have to once again embrace her power. But, after so long, will she be able to summon the wolf?

I’ve found that LB can’t not write a good book! Luna is a werewolf who has turned her back on her kind. She hasn’t changed into her wolf in 25 years and no longer knows if she could. But some strange things are happening around her and to her. Her last potion to suppress her wolf is finished and she can’t get another, for some time at least. But a visit to her mother and fighting for her life makes her rethink everything. Apparently the second of two books is due out in February 2025. Well, it’s not that far off but it feels longer! 😢😢

Another great book by an author whose books I absolutely love. I must admit that the last times I preordered any of her books, including this one, I didn’t even bother reading the blurb because I honestly loved each and every single one of her books. This book captivated me from the first page on and kept me glued to me kindle till the end. It was funny, moving, nail-bitingly exciting and simply amazing. I already preordered the next book in the series and can’t wait to get my hands on it.Great and interesting characters and an intriguing, unique, imaginative and incredibly well-written story – did I mention how much I loved this book?

It’s a good start to the series. Luna as Main character is amazing. I was feeling something was off with Duncan from the start. The werewolf and Luna’s ex situation was interesting.I liked Bolin more than anyone in this book. I wish there was more of him.

A great start to a new series. By now, I have read enough of Lindsay Buroker’s books to know the formula. The story starts slow. Building the world and introducing the characters, about halfway through, I enjoy the characters and story so much I don’t want to put it down.Luna has turned her back on her pack and her nature. Now, all alone. Her children have grown up and moved out, her ex husband has been out of the picture for a while. Enter the enigmatic Duncan. A man of mystery, old school British charm, and feral energy. When she is attacked the only person she can trust is this stranger. Why has her pack suddenly taken such an interest in Luna after 20 plus years? Luna must confront her past and get answers, whether she likes them or not.It was a great start to this series. I am already looking forward to reading the next book. I know this is planned for three books, but if they are a good as this maybe the series can be extended.

    Engaging new series
If you enjoy Buroker’s writing style, this book will not disappoint. Lively banter, fast paced and with good character development. Only complaint would be that it seemed a bit short.

I’ve read most of Ms. Buroker’s books, and loved/liked most.
I’m having a harder time warming up to the fantasy novels, but as always a well written story with likable MC. Sure loved her science fiction/space operas though. They were funny, action packed, so loved by space wanna-be’s. So will continue to follow fantasy novels too. I’m sure I’ll get there too.

Interesting beginning to a new series
Lindsay’s new series has a great start with interesting characters and more than enough subplots to keep you guessing how it will all turn out. The Pacific Northwest is as usual an area full of many magical beings, but her familiarity with the area allows her to paint very lifelike situations that mixes well the supernatural with the mundane in a very convincing manner that makes the stories come alive.

    A great easy read
I received this as a free gift from the author through Goodreads. I couldn’t wait to read it and it did not disappoint. Thank you for choosing me. I like Lindsay’s other books and this is a very similar style. It has a great story line that sucks you in. Some of it was a little bit predictable but overall if you are looking for a quick easy read, this is a good book for you. I recommend it and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

    Full of adventure!
I really enjoyed reading this midlife adventure. I loved Luna with how strong she was and even though she was a werewolf, she still hung on to her humanity. I loved Duncan and their interactions with each other. They really were quite funny together. The world building was interesting and I enjoyed the characters. I was disappointed when I finished the book and I can’t wait to read the next one in this series.

Another awesome story from Lindsay Buroker.
Ms. Buroker has become one of my favorite writers. Her characters come to life amid tales of intrigue and danger. Each of her series have been filled with the best elements to tell a great story while being completely unique. The Way of the Wolf follows the same pattern. Luna is a werewolf who has spent the last 25 years taking a potion to inhibit the wolf part of herself. A mysterious stranger, the disappearance of her potion supplier, discovering that someone has been spying on her, and an attempt on her life draws her back to her mother and the pack. Luna is a great character that I found myself rooting for and I look forward to reading more of her story.

    Very fun to read
“Way of the Wolf” is yet another example of Lindsay Buroker’s incredible ability to craft engaging, fun, and immersive stories. The blend of mystery, magic, and well-developed characters made this book hard to put down. Luna is a relatable and likable protagonist, and the way her werewolf heritage unfolds kept me hooked from start to finish.Just like her other books, Buroker’s writing is fast-paced, witty, and filled with humor and charm. The world-building is spot on, and the balance between action, character development, and intrigue was perfect. I’m excited to dive into the next book and see where Luna’s journey leads!
