This game is really fun for 2 people (probably for more as well but so far just me and my partner). It’s easy to get a hold of the rules and it’s fun competition. The game ends quite quickly when people collect 5 National parks, so to make it more fun me and my partner remove this rule and play until all stones are collected.

Nice quality board and accessories, and an engaging, educational array of national park information on the cards. Our first game took longer than usual as we were learning. We plan to watch the video on game play to make sure we have interpreted the instructions correctly, but it’s a good game. I think many board games are too expensive though, including this one, but the quality is there.

    Fun game
I was initially doubtful about this game because of so many negative reviews about how complicated it is, but I bought it anyway. I found the instructions to be well written and my husband and I enjoyed playing a practice round. There are multiple aspects to the game, but it’s not difficult to learn and we will definitely be playing it with friends who enjoy board games.

    Such a fun boardgame!
I highly recommend this game. It’s super fun to play, my 9 year old loves it, the design is beautiful and the art quality is fantastic. Our favorite part is the facts on the back of the park cards. I’d say this is suitable for 9 or 10+.

    Simple, Fun Family Game
Our family enjoys playing board games, including fairly complex ones. We found the rule book straight forward and easy to understand. We also watched a tutorial for how to play. This game reminded us a bit of Ticket to Ride. We were a bit disappointed that the game seemed to end too soon (only had to explore 5 parks, which did not take long to do) and was a bit overly simplistic. The game was still fun, but we might add some house rules to increase the challenge level when we play in the future.

    What a fun game
This game is so much fun on so many levels. It has so many different depths to it and easy to play with everyone. I believe it’s a great value and fun for the whole family. The pieces and the game board itself are so well made and it is great for facts about the United States parks.

    Great family game
Although the instructions seemed daunting at first, it really was easy to pick up how to play the game. We had my 7 and 9 year-old grandchildren catching on within10 minutes. They asked to play the next day, which was a plus with all the other Christmasgifts available! Cards present an opportunity to learn facts about the National Parks, plus the board provides geography. I like that there is an option for a solo player, although we did not try that out while I was there.

Something for everyone in the family
It’s a great way for my first grader to learn some geography and practice reading, but I also really like that the game involves strategy and math, as well. It’s also challenging enough to keep parents engaged, too. A great game for the entire family! Moreover, my daughter really likes the bear game piece . . . which she invariably has attack and eat me whenever we play.

Fun, great quality, well-paced, replayable- what more could you ask for?
I bought this for the family for Christmas and will recommend it to anybody who is looking for a fresh and exciting new board game to purchase. In terms of quality this game is unmatched by any other that I’ve bought in recent years. The board is as beautiful as it is sturdy and the cards feel durable. I was surprised that the bag included to shuffle the stones was so thick and well made, and I really appreciated that there was an extra of each stone included in the box. While the instructions appeared a bit daunting at first glance (after a glass of wine anyway), but we jumped into playing and decided to fumble through until we picked it up. Thankfully, minimal fumbling required- it was really easy to figure out how to play and once we were off and running, we had a BLAST!I would say this is true to the age range listed on the box and I do think that players of all ages will have a fantastic time with this one. It’s fast without being too quick of a game, but doesn’t feel at all like a huge time commitment. We played wrong- we didn’t remember that there were two ways to trigger the end of game- but we were having so much fun we just kept going after we realized! All told, even with the first-time-fumblings and playing it for “too long”, we were in for about 90 minutes total- perfect for a little at home date night after the kids are asleep! All in all, I’d give this one more than 5 stars if I could and would absolutely buy it again. If you’re on the fence about it, jump right down off that post and put this game in your cart!
