Join everyone’s favorite character in this exciting spin on a classic TOMY kid’s game: Pop Up Super Mario! With 3 ways to play, there’s fun for everyone. In Classic Play, each player takes turns sliding paddles into the pipe. When the correct slot is picked…POP! Mario will bounce out of the pipe and that player wins! Any slot could make him pop up – it’s different each time! In Coin Collection, players decide how many rounds to play. Paddles are then mixed up and placed coin side down. Each player chooses a new paddle each turn. The player that helps Mario pop out gets the number of coins on that paddle added to their score. Whoever has the most coins at the end of the final round wins! Pop-Up Mario lets you choose your favorite way to play in Classic or Coin Collection Mode. Play as Team Luigi or Team Bowser and compete to help Mario pop out of the pipe and win the round! Mario fans both young and old will love this exciting action game! Tricky to set up
[...]We have the bluey one and it’s a bit finicky. Cute design. Fun for the kids (3.5 and 18mos) but ultimately, it is difficult to set bluey so she’ll pop. And if the kids accidentally knock the barrel over, sometimes it causes bluey to not pop. We have had many disappointing rounds in the game because it didn’t set up properly.Still, a cute game and perfect for my toddlers

Simple and Fun
[...]It’s super simple and easy. I think the age limit can go down to 2. My daughter is almost 2 and loves playing it! Fun little family game to pass time. Happy with the purchase.

Fun but spring gets stuck
[...]We played this a few times but the spring got stuck resulting in the pirate not being able to pop! Talk about a buzzkill.A look on Google shows repairs like drilling a hole and removing the springs and replacing etc. However the easiest solution is to bang the bottom of the barrel onto the ground really hard. The spring will pop out and the toy will work again.Other than this quirk, it’s a great fun toy that will definitely make it into our game rotation.

Boing or Flop
[...]Our son was excited to get this game for his birthday. He knew exactly what it was. He has played the pirate and dino versions before in his therapy sessions. Took about 20 minutes to get ready. Had to assemble the sticks (taking plastic off and putting stickers on). Easy to play. Great fine motor game. Mario is a little heavy, so he doesn’t really fly out of the pipe (he jumps and clunks). The little pieces and big pieces are very durable and of great quality (unlike most board games where the plastic is almost paper like).

Great Game for Wild Children
[...]I bought this for my just turned 5 year old great nephew that I never met before! He had a difficult time taking turns and following the normal game directions. However, this game was just perfect for us. We “sorta” took turns, but he mostly enjoyed skipping me, and putting in and taking out the tokens by himself to see if Mario would pop up. I think it was a good intro to game playing! He enjoyed the theme of the game as well, and with the easy concept I think it’s a great beginner game for high energy kids.

Very fun game that takes NO BATTERIES
[...]This is one of the favorite toys in Grandma’s toy box!! It is a daily go to toy for the kids. Grandkids are between 2-4 years old that play with this Mario game.It is excellent quality and should last the rest of time. The little plastic pieces that you stick into each of the holes with hopes that Mario pops up are thick and they don’t bend. The Mario toy himself is heavy and well made. He is pretty big as you can see my 3 year old grandsons hand holding him. This is one of those educational toys that not only teaches strategy but also teaches colors and the names of the characters. The educational value to me is very good! The price point is excellent especially for a toy that isn’t just cheap junk that gets thrown away earlier than you’d like. The kids have been playing with this since Christmas and still find almost daily interest in it after all this time. This toy will last! It’s durable! It needs NO batteries!
