Will, huge fan here… Cradle has been my favorite series of all time, my teenagers also love it and have read the entire series. This is a big ask, but We were wondering if you could expand on the reaper division in a separate book or series. What happens to them in the future? Do they survive the insanity that plagued the executors? We think there is a potential for an outstanding series focusing on the reapers. Thanks so much for your hard work! Keep it up!

I am really happy for the short stories. Ties up many of the what ‘came after’ questions! As any avid reader knows, there is nothing more satisfying and sad as last book of a series. Satisfying because it is a book series that is written from beginning to end, Sad because these are characters I really came to love and wish for more. This time we got more!

Everything I hoped it would be. (Almost)
This book was even better than I thought it would be be, which is saying something because my expectations were sky high. I was also pleasantly surprised by how much of the gang we got to see. It really was the perfect way to cap off the Cradle series. If you loved the series, you’ll love these stories just as much.Mild spoilers for Threshold and Waybound below:(Though I will say I’m still salty we never got to see Lindon officially advance to monarch, even in this book, though it really should have been in Waybound. The whole story was about Lindon advancing and that was supposed to be the final, most anticipated, and most important step on that journey.)

It’s finally happened! The dreaded paperback size change despite this entire series being through Hidden Gnome. Frankly it’s visually offensive and knowing the author is a big book nerd like the rest of us I can’t believe he would allow this to happen….

Nice addition to the Cradle series
Will Wight has a winner in the Cradle series. The characters are well developed, even if Orthos is only ever seen eating on rocks (or furniture,) and this gives us another glimpse into their lives.It’s not as deep as the other books, but feels more like a family reunion that you would not want to have missed.

An unexpected treat
I honestly thought we’d said our fairwells to Lindor, Yerin, and all the rest of the folks from Cradle, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover this wonderful collection of short stories tying up loose ends, showing us the trials of the ascended, and letting us bask once more in the warm fuzzy goodness of these books. The last ‘story’ is pretty hilarious too. A must for anyone who loved this series!
