The Volleyball Coach’s Book of Lists
I found the book a fun and informative read. Tod is a friend foremost and a terrific coach as well. I appreciate the time he put into this book in assembling the lists from other friends and coaches I know as well as those I’ve never heard of.I’ve already purchased copies to send to friends as holiday presents.I strongly recommended the book to any volleyball or other coaches. As someone once said “there’s a lesson lies in learning and by teaching I’ll be taught.”

Coaches of all levels share many of the intangibles of successful coaching!
Very thoughtful contributions made by highly successful volleyball coaches of all levels. In the best way, the book goes beyond the Xs and Os to the mental, emotional, and collective wisdom of excellence.

    Fantastic Book
I am biased because I’m one of the contributors to this book! But seriously, this book is great on 2 levels. First: It’s a breezy bathroom book style of mini-chapters based around different coaches contributing different lists of “10 Things…” So you can pull it out at any time and get a little nugget or 2. But what I didn’t expect was how packed full of real information this book would be. The list format forces each item to be brief, without much explanation. Which means that some of the submissions end up being incredibly dense, if you stop to think about what the coach is really saying. And again, because the lists are presented without much exposition, you get a feel, at a quick glance, for the overall argument that coach is making. And seriously, if all you did was take the very first list of the book (which is by Karch Kiraly, btw) and make sure those 10 things happened at your practice, you would be way ahead of the game. Highly recommended!
