I have to say this again that Ru yet again nailed it like never before. I read this series for the first time in June this year. I know I am new to her world but I am obsessed with her writing. I was never into third pov but RuNyx made it my fav by writing this masterpiece. I was having a downpour of emotions in real life when I first took this series. I went blind to this series even without reading the blurb or anything. I was looking for a dark romance series and I found my forever favourite series.I had no expectations on this last book. I knew that Ru would definitely bring the Tristan Luna reunion and I was only rooting for it as an expectation. But guess what, the Syndicater was beyond my expectations. I read the book very slowly just to absorb every thing. For me this book was a classic end to the series. I never thought that Runyx would give such a beautiful closure to every single character. This book was not only a closure to the series, it was a stunning ending like never before for the plot and the characters. As an English literature student in the past, I always looked keenly upon the character developments rather than the plot. I wanted the characters to reach a complete arc from beginning to end and The Syndicater gave me that. I don’t understand why some of the fans are showing hatred to this book but I am completely ignoring them to hell. This last book had the correct amount of everything for me just like the other books written by Ru. The plot, twists, breakdowns, character developments, world buildings, the sufferings, the belongingness, the sm*t and so on. The list goes on and on. The last newsletter provided by RuNyx showing the nsfw art was perfect for visualising for me.I have put a brief thoughts on each of the 4 couples on the post. I have endless things to say but my emotional mind is so exhausted to put out them. Last but not the least – RuNyx I love you and only respect and gratitude to you for this therapy you have given without me asking. I feel very lucky to have taken your work when I was having the thoughts to give up. Thank you for saving me and will look upon you and your works ALWAYS FOREVER ♾️♾️.

After finishing this book, I was sobbing for ten minutes straight because I felt so many emotions. All the tension, anxiety and happiness that has been building up for the past few months because of the excitement for the book, left my body. It made me realize it is truly over. I will never recover from this series.Diving back into their world again, it felt like I never left. From the very first page I was deep into their story again. It felt like home. The characters felt like home.Seeing the couples all come together made my heart feel so full. They really are a family. That kind of family where you know the loyalty and trust runs so deep, you don’t even question it.There were so many moments I was looking forward to and I was asking myself how runyx would write it and let me tell you she did not disappoint. It was everything that i have hoped and wished for but so so much more. I was smiling and crying most of the time. The action scenes and plot twists were so shocking,I did not see them coming at all. It was so intense. The whole book was so intense and dark, it made me grip my kindle so hard the whole time.I can’t believe it’s really over. I feel so empty and content at the same time. It’s hard to explain.I am truly satisfied with the whole book and ending. Runyx really wrote the best finale for the series.Morana, Tristan, Amara, Dante, Zephyr, Alpha, Lyla and Dainn finally got closure including me.It is the end of an era.

I loved that all the story closed, the development of the world, the characters their personalities, the fact that they are not unidimentional AND have Depth ITS beautifull, also english Is not my first language but the way Is written Is Easy to understand, you dont get lost when you read so that makes the story better.

    Hole in my chest
I am a blubbering mess right now. Ugly crying. This series had me in a chokehold every minute of the day for a week straight. Finishing it right now.. I feel so empty, and that’s how you know it was a GOOD series. Phenomenal, incredible, PERFECT. I’m probably gonna need a few days of no reading just to get my emotions back in check. I loved every single book in this series. Originally, Tristan and Morana were my favorite couple, but they were immediately switched out for Lyla and Dainn. But I love every single character, every couple, the entire plot, every single thing about every single book. The plot twists just never stopped hitting me and knocking me right out of my seat and that’s my favorite part of a book. This is hands down my favorite series right now. PHENOMENAL. 100 STARS I LOVE YOU RUNYX.

Loved the ending but not as much
The series is 5 stars, loved the ending but not as much as the rest of the series.Pros: loved the many POVs, I thought they were done well.We got Morana’s character back (I had felt like we lost her a bit in the middle books, meaning some of her depth and strength was not there in her moments on page). The ending wrapped up well. I was a little worried and thankfully I had nothing to worry about. I really enjoyed the continued depth that was built into Diann’s character, as well as Lyla’s. While reading their book I was so/so on them but this book deepens my love for them both. I still have a strong preference for Tristan and Morana though. Their two books I’ve re-read so many times.I also enjoyed some of the other characters a bit more than I had in their own books. Like Zephyr and Alpha.Cons: Lots of writing errors that were surprising.I felt like we lost Tristan’s character a bit. I really missed the predator we got to know in the first two books. I’m all for character development, but it wasn’t until towards the end of this book that I felt like we got to see a glimmer of the him again as all fell in love with. But that’s personal preference. I also feel like Dante was overshadowed a bit too. And some of the other previously very important side characters were just totally dismissed. My biggest critique and what made my rating 4 stars is that the first 70% of the book felt like a very extended epilogue tbh (with lots of rambling and rehashing everything we already knew repeatedly). Then the middle was kind of picking up, and then the moment we had all been waiting for was so rushed and not flushed out. All the sudden so much information was half heartedly thrown at the reader with huge jumps in events. It was disappointing. And many things seemed unnecessary? Or should have been part of the plot MUCH earlier for them to feel relevant.I don’t want to give away too much. I still loved the book and was really happy with the ending. Love the series. Would highly recommend.

“The end of one era. The beginning of another. And this one was all of theirs.”
I’m fresh off of reading this and am genuinely struggling to come up with words adequate enough for everything I’m feeling right now. The Syndicater was both brutal and cathartic. Coming back to see these couples and characters I’ve come to love so much melding into this beautiful found-family left me with a kind of aching envy that can only be sweetened by appreciation. I want what Morana, Tristan, Dante, Amara, Zephyr, Alpha, Lyla, and the Shadow Man have. There’s this timeless saying that people love to throw around – that blood is thicker than water. I recently learned that the full saying is actually “blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb” – meaning that the relationships you choose are stronger than the ones you inherit. I can’t think of a more fitting way to describe the conclusion of RuNyx’s Dark Verse. You have this collection of broken, wounded, imperfect people that have managed to find some semblance of healing, light, and meaning through love, all coming together to face the evil that not only threatens to destroy them, but turns out is the source of all of that aforementioned brokenness and pain. It ends where it begins indeed.I was very pleased to find that RuNyx still has that iconic lyrical/poetic quality to her writing. I will always have a weakness for this woman’s prose. So many scenes and moments of dialogue spoke the language of my soul and that is such a gift. There were some stylistic choices that I wish had been reconsidered, but on the whole, I was here for the story and I left *that* feeling quite satisfied.I loved this book. To me, it was absolutely worth the wait. The mysteries and twists, the raw emotion that often bled from the pages, the blessed moments of levity and wit to break up how intense and heavy things were overall… I loved it. I am absolutely content with how everyone’s arcs were wrapped up. I was living for the exquisitely executed found-family vibes. And the love and passion between each of these couples remains the stuff of legend.I’m heartbroken that this is the end of the Dark Verse, but I also can’t wait to visit it again – as dangerous and deadly as it can be. There’s something about this brutal, heart-wrenching, passionate series that I will never be able to put words to. It’s like a vortex or a riptide. I can’t help but be utterly swept up and carried away.
