Andee Zomerman –
Teachers Need to Practice w/AI
[...]Not to date myself, but I remember when educators were apprehensive about the internet. Then Google. Then one to one devices (we still may be apprehensive about this one). AI is here and we need to be teaching appropriate usage. The Merrills do a spectacular job giving you lesson plan ideas using the best AI EdTech out there. You don’t even need to know anything about AI! The introduction will hold your hand as you explore the unknown. The best part are all of the lesson ideas letting kids learn while being kids. They create online. They form relationships online. They learn online. If you are like me and believe an educator should be guiding them in appropriate AI-learning usage, buy this book. Shoot, even if you hate the idea of AI, these activities will make your students want to come to class. Seriously.Signed,7th grade Language Arts teacher who blocks Amazon for kids during school, but not the sites the Merrills suggest.
