[...]I have now read this book 3 times, obviously I am OBSESSED!The way this story capsulate you with the full emotion from Charlotte and the awful relationship she endures with her boyfriend, the author is not shy with the details, this story really showcases the raw emotions!This story is dual POV, Logan Arison is a true vigilante, after suffering the loss of his family due to his Father’s poor decisions, he takes out his revenge/pain/suffering on the worst kind of individuals who are the most deserving of meeting his alter ego THE BONE REAPER. (my kind of man!!)This slow burn is truly a slow burn, all the tension and banter (who doesn’t love and eat up great banter) makes these moments with the main characters all that more delightful, it is very steamy and so satisfying!Venom, miss Kayla ma’am, you already know what you need to do next with my 2nd favorite man in this story, Venom needs his own book to shine even more, more venom moments is a necessity, thank you in advance.

Until she meets Reaper in the most unconventional way. Reaper only takes “jobs” that help women and he tries to stay to himself but something about Charlotte has him breaking down his walls. She knows what he does and wants him to teach her she wants to regain her power and help women.While they are training, living together and getting to know each other he is fighting the connection but with each day he falls harder for her. From the beginning they have great banter and connection and the spice they cannot keep their hands off each other.Now that epilogue has me hoping he gets a book because I loved him even when I didn’t know if I should. [...]This book hits hard, we start with so much trauma. The prologue begins with Logan-the Bone Reaper and how he was made the reaper. It tells his story at the age of 17 and what happened with his family. We then switch to Charlotte and the current day. She is living in a domestic abuse situation. She can’t get out and she feels stuck. Charlotte only has her best friend supporting her and nobody else. After her live in boyfriend almost kills her Lily, her best friend, searches for The Bone Reaper. Nobody knows if he truly exists, he is like a ghost that comes and takes out men who are abusing others. Lily takes her shot and reaches out to Reaper through the dark web and just hopes he is real and can save her best friend. Enter the introduction of Reaper and Charlotte. Through some unforseen circumstances Charlotte moves in with Reaper. Through the months they become closer and start to develop a bond.This is an extremely slow burn book. Reaper and Charlotte are very closed off due to their pasts. They both feel an attraction but refuse to move any further because they have both suffered so much. The start to develop a close friendship that builds from there. I really enjoyed this book as Charlotte starts as someone without a lot of confidence and she slowly learns that she is a lot stronger than she even knew. She becomes a whole new person with strength and bad assery! I really felt a strong bond to her and her entire story. She is so much stronger than she even knows even when she is with her ex and dealing with his abuse. She continues standing strong and moving forward. I also really enjoyed Reapers side and how he has dealt with his pain and trauma. Together they build each other up and help the other heal. It is such a beautiful story of strength and perseverance!This book has a lot of TW so pay attention to them. Especially abuse, the author goes into detail with Charlotte’s abuse at the beginning of the book and it could be triggering for some. Your mental health matters so skip this one if that is something that affects you. I loved how the author details some of the killings. I don’t feel like this was an extremely dark book, it was much lighter than others I have read. It really concentrated on developing the characters. I would classify it as a slow burn lighter dark read. All in all I loved it and cannot wait for the next one!
