I had the smaller unit for my 9¨ iPad, unfortunately it was a little small for the 12¨ iPad. This one is perfect. It folds flat so it does not take much space in my bag. Being able to adjust it to multiple angles is a welcome bonus.

This stand is amazing. Before I ordered it
This stand is amazing. Before I ordered it, I was concerned that the iPad would move around a lot or tip over when pressing the edges, since the stand leaves about 3/4″ of the iPad unsupported on either edge (in portrait mode) and about 2″ (in landscape mode). Well, I am happy to say that this thing is super sturdy and it isn’t going to tip over. Further, it looks and feels like an Apple branded product. The aluminum is similar to that of the MacBook pro. Some have mentioned they don’t like having to push in a button to adjust the stand, but I disagree. I like that the stand doesn’t move unless you press the button. It means you can put more pressure (such as drawing, typing on the screen) and the stand’s angle does not change. Lastly, the “hook” at the bottom where your iPad rests is wide enough to allow you to keep most protection cases on while using the stand. If I were to make one request to the manufacturer (this is not a complaint, just a suggestion) it would be to make the kickstand out of the same nice aluminum as the rest of the product. This would give it a solid and very high quality look and feel. I would definitely recommend this.

Handy solid tablet stand with many angles for adjustment.
While described as an iPad Pro stand, I purchased this to encompass all of my tablets and phones. The unit is pretty solid in it’s build. There are many adjustable angles in forward or reverse mode. I tried all of my tablets, PC’s and phones that would fit and it came out with flying colors. The only one that did not fit as well in the groove was my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 while in the Logitech Keyboard case. That particular setup is pretty bulky on it’s own. The keyboard did set into the groove with the tablet hanging over it, so it still is usable.I took a ton of pictures during the tests and I’ll try to upload what helps people make a decision. I have not tried the iPad pro yet, when I receive one I’ll try it out.Tablets tested.Surface Pro 4Dell Venue Pro 11 with the back case cover and without. Fits both ways.Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, with the Samsung case/cover. FitsSamsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, with the Logitech keyboard. The whole unit does not fit in the groove. When the keyboard is folded under the tablet it sits into groove with the tablet overhanging. Since the design of that keyboard/case has the tablet holders at the top, It’s possible for the tablet to slide down. In reverse mode the tablet and keyboard would not sit on the roller without sliding down.Iphone 5 with a decent card case. OK.iphone 6plus with same type of card case. Does not fit down into the groove, Sits on top of it. Still works.iPad 4. OK.The unit is larger then an iphone 5, 6Plus, Galaxy note edge. I knew that going in.Samsung Galaxy note edge.Galaxy Note Tab 10.1 GT-8013 with Samsung smart cover case. OK.Gechic 1303i USB powered HDMI monitor. OK, portrait and landscape (13.3″)Lenovo 14″ USB Monitor. OK in portrait mode but only in one direction as the electronics block the other way. Landscape doesn’t make sense as the monitor has it’s own leg.HP Split X2 tablet section. 13.3″ Portrait and landscape.Cons.- In dealing with so many stands, the first gut reaction is to pull the leg from the main housing, i.e. until you realize it does not move freely. You need to press a button to unlock the position. There probably should be a sticker on the back leg reminding you to unlock the leg by depressing the button.- When the leg is locked into a position, there is some back and forth movement. Sort of gives you the impression of a weak lock. I have not had any issue with it so far, but if I do I will update.- I wish there were a companion neoprene or drawstring bag. my concern is always that it may scratch other items in my bag. Makes me have to pack it in a special compartment to safeguard other items.Overall I’m very happy with it. It’s a solid stand with many adjustable positions for use. I have the Gechic, Maroo, Poweradd 10,000 mah battery and Amazon basic stands as well. The TechMatte XL will probably be the one I take when I’m on the go.The initial goal for this was for the Gechic and/or Lenovo USB monitor to sit under the curved 34″ Dell at a deep angle. This giving me a work space under the larger work space. Great for dragging a youtube video under the main screen.Other usage cases are for using the USB monitors, HP Split X2 and/or other tablets in portrait mode with solid support.I prefer a side monitor in portrait mode for code and/or monitoring log files. It succeeds in all my use cases so far.I posted this review at the request of the seller to help others make an informed decision.I received no compensation for this review.

Sturdy, high quality, beefy stands to hold heavier devices
I use these to hold split keyboard halves and a touchpad at a tented angle, to prevent repetitive stress injury (tendinitis) while typing and mousing. They are extremely sturdy and stay put even when I’m typing on the keyboard propped up on the stands.I like that the hinge won’t move unless you push a spring-loaded button on the side. These are large stands, designed to hold large tablets like an iPad pro. They’re about the size of half a laptop keyboard or a full-sized Apple trackpad. And they’re made of aluminum. The leg does fold down fairly compactly, but between the size, weight, and substantial hinge and lip, they definitely do not disappear in a computer bag or tablet sleeve. My one concern is that the leg is plastic rather than aluminum like the rest of the stand. It’s thick and solid, but time will tell if it cracks or breaks easily. All that being said, I was so pleased with the two I got to hold my split keyboard I immediately ordered a third to hold a trackpad.

Excellent iPad Pro 2020, 11 inch stand, usable with iPad in protective case.
I have used this brand of stand for my iPhones for several years now. I got this larger one for my new iPad and I couldn’t be happier. I have the iPad in a protective case and it still fits in the stand just fine. The stands are sturdy and adjust to multiple viewing angles. If you get this larger stand, or the smaller version (I use for my iPhone) you will be very satisfied. Right now, since there are so few cases and keyboard cases for the 2020 pro, I have my iPad in a Spigen case (that holds my pencil in contact with the charging area), a Spigen screen protector (the best screen protector I have ever used) sitting in this stand. I have the stand propped into a Kensington keyboard from a older model iPad. It looks great and if I need to take my iPad with me, I can just unplug it and go with my iPad still protected. My main gripe with the Apple cases is that there is no protection for the iPad on the top or sides, so if you detach it to take with you, the pad is “naked”, without protection from drops.

Simple sturdy adjustable tablet/phone stand – buy it!!
I was looking for a simple, sturdy, adjustable stand for my old iPad2 in a heavy duty case. Scrolling through the long list of items on Amazon, this one came up. I checked it out, read some reviews, price was only 13 bucks, what did I have to lose? It shipped out and arrived within a few days. Seemed a bit small but does the job very well. It actually is quite sturdy. Works great with any tablet or phone. Takes up hardly any room at all and folds almost flat for storage. I like it!! 5 stars for product and the seller!!
