Exceptional In The Kitchen!
[...]UPDATED REVIEW: I was sitting here looking at this, and upon closer inspection – I did not see this originally – on ONE side of each of the 3 joints, is a spot where you can use a 5/32″ or 5mm hex key to tighten each joint so it doesn’t move while you have the phone or tablet on it. It also folds up rather nicely out of the way. If you do a lot of cooking in the kitchen, or are a flight simmer, this is a tool that you absolutely must have, and something that I – as someone with a LOT of hours in flight sim – wish I’d found a lot sooner than I did, but am glad I found it. This will replace My current mount for My iPad.IMtKotW, IF you read this, please accept My most humble, and sincere apologies for My original, and inaccurate review of such a wonderful tool!

Holds my Samsung laptop/tablet securely
[...]I have a Samsung laptop with a screen that folds back, so it can also be used as a tablet. It measures 12”x 8″ and is 9/16′ thick. The stand is just big enough to hold it securely. I bought it to mount behind my treadmill so I can watch videos while walking on the treadmill. (The treadmill is in a corner facing the wall, where I mounted the stand.) You can angle the stand to get your device just where you want it. There was not a wall stud where I needed one, so I ended up using heavy-duty drywall anchors instead of the provided screws. They should be strong enough as long as I am careful when I mount the laptop in the stand.

[...]This piece of hardware does a great job of holding my iPad or iPhone. There is some assemblyrequired but the tools are provided. 2 allen-hex wrenches. The smaller one tightens the 2 screws from the base to the arm mechanism. The machining was done right with recessed screw slots.The larger hex wrench tightens or loosens the hinges on the arms. Brilliant! Works flawlessly and shouldbe helpful for years.I saw one review where he mounted this on drywall. Not good. This should be screwed into a stud, wood bench, desk or into a solid wall. This is stated in the description. The provided anchors are for masonry. I will screw this to my work bench and have a spot to get info as I work. I sometimes need a DIY Youtube video to help. Now, I will have a safe spot for my iPad in the shop.I did have to remove the iPad case. The iPhone fits well too (lengthwise).Reasonable price for what it is. Stylish enough for a professional office. Functional enough for anyone.This folds up very compact.Thanks.

[...]I thought the arm on this holder was longer, so it actually won’t work the way I intended to use it. Also I do not like the fact that you cannot clamp a tablet into it without taking off the tablet’s protective cover. I think if you were happy with just attaching it to a desk, and if you were happy with your tablet having no protective cover, it would be fine, because it looks like it is built well. But to me, if I were going to use it that way, why not just have a desktop computer.

Sturdy and adjustable.
[...]The mounting plate comes separated you have to secure it onto the mount with two small included screws and the included allen wrench to tighten it down. Each of the individual arm sections has a bolt you can use the included Allen wrench to tighten down in case your device weighs it down and you need it to be a little more tight. I think that it was priced reasonably for what it is. Overall it seems fairly sturdy and I like that the tablet section stretches in either direction.
