Good luck if you’ve got a warranty claim
[...]Until recently I was a fan of Suncloud sunglasses. This was my third pair. I enjoyed what I felt was fair pricing and good quality. However, the other day the frame of one pair broke after I stored them in an inside jacket pocket while shopping. When I went to retrieve them, one of the temple arms was broken at the hinge, which was strange, since I didn’t bump into anything, and the glasses didn’t get snagged pulling them out of the pocket.I was bummed, but Suncloud warranties their frames for life (per their website). So, I went about supplying photos of the glasses and also provided proof of purchase for the sunglasses in question. The website notes a 7-14 day processing time for warranty claims. After 14 + days I sent a follow up email asking for status and 5 days later, I’ve heard nothing. All I was asking for was a replacement temple arm, I don’t need a full replacement frame. I guess I should not be surprised, but I am disappointed in the lack of response from Suncloud.

Wife Says “They’re Comfortable”
[...]Purchased these for my wife for Christmas and she loves them. She said the tint is effective, but not too dark. She also likes the coverage they provide, lenses aren’t too small and light doesn’t come in from the side.

POOR PACKAGING, but still Great Glasses
[...]Current Review/Complaint. Dec 1st, 2024. UNBELIEVABLY poor shipping & product packaging. I was shocked to see a pair of $50 sunglasses arrive in only a plastic zip lock bag, inside of a small amazon bubble-wrap bag. Not EVEN sufficient protection for shipping. Previous orders at least were protected in a cardboard box. Crazy. It’s a miracle they arrived unscratched or broken. I’m going to just say it; this was very dumb. And I am very dissatisfied with this.This is my 3rd pair ordered from amazon in the last few years. I have no problem with my own regular wear & tear, to re-order periodically.Prior Review: Best quality for price. Great value. Great polarized lenses. Have had 3 pairs. Won’t buy any others, any more. Wish Suncloud would bring back the “Speedtrap.”

[...]I have been buying Sunclouds for years. I think they are the best value in the sunglass market. The polarization is a must and there has never been distortion in any of my lenses. I’m very active outside and these last even though I don’t baby them. I usually lose them before I wear them out! My bad. And they always seem to fit my face well. They stopped making my go-to style so I bought two new styles. 5 star for both.
