We were eager to go plastic-free and after much research we went with these.Many have said they don’t last long. But we are still using the same pad almost 2months on. We sterilse them weekly by soaking overnight in bleach.The only downside is the they do take a few days of use to fully soften.That said, I think there great, and so highly recommend them.Great product & great for our waterways and environment.

I have bought these a number of times now. They are great – durable, soft, good at scrubbing, and look cute in my kitchen. I love that they’re biodegradable. The only thing is that they do get dirty if you scrub pans with them because of their light colour, but that is to be expected.

[...]It is a very good find for someone who’s looking for smth useful AND environmentally friendly. Besides the fact that I’m allergic to almost the whole Periotic table, it feels good to know that someone else cares about the harmful chemicals..:)I would, though, put a tiny ‘minus’ to those 5 stars, because my son got hurt when one of those stiff coconut fibers poked his finger…BUT – I do realize that children hands are extra sensitive, we agreed he’d use gloves for washing the dishes.. Other then that, my opinion is that stiffness of those fibers becomes softer as you use the product, to me it’s very minor.

[...]From the moment I touched the sponge, I had already noticed a quality difference from the usual sponge I use. First off, the brown coconut husk can easily scrub a dried rice stuck on a textured bowl. The dual white side is super soft, also gripping onto hard and soft foods. This is definitely worth the money as it’s better for the earth. The thickness is standard as well as the size. The shape is curved for an easy grip. Doesn’t smell like chemicals! A win!

[...]I bought these around a month ago. I liked the reviews, I liked that it’s made from coconuts. Our other dish sponges only lasted about 3 weeks, and that’s really pushing it, before they were falling apart and had a smell, even with cold water rinsing. This one made it a month, and it is beginning to get a smell to it. It’s held up nicely, it did a great job and I could probably get another a week or so out of it, but I don’t like it when my dish sponges begin to smell. It scrubs very well, too. I do a lot of dishes for my family and I am happy with this product, I will definitely be purchasing them again. I will post pictures of my used coconut sponge next to a new one. The scrubbing part is beginning to come loose at the corners, too, but it’s not about to just come off. One corner of the sponge was cut from a knife but it held on until a few days ago.

My favorite sponges!
[...]I love these sponges!! I used to use scotch brite only, for years. I’ll never use another type of sponge again. I love that they’re more natural materials and biodegradable. The walnut scrubber side cuts through better than any scotch brite and it hasn’t scratched so far!! They are the perfect size for my hand and really get it done. They rinse out completely even after big cleaning jobs and don’t stink after 2 weeks like my old sponges. I like the large pack for the price and I love the color. Highly recommend!

[...]For a natural materials product these are as close to a scrubbing sponge as I’d expect to get. Sponge side is excellent: soft, durable, effective. The scrubbing side is stiff at first but fairly effective. may start to separate from the sponge side after heavy use. Small bits of coco fibers sometimes come off but I find this less annoying than bright plastic pieces that eventually come off of many plastic sponges. Overall worth it to reduce plastic.

Durable, effective, guilt free
[...](pictures are after 4 uses, and how I store my sponge to dry when not in use) I bought my first 12 pk back in December 2023, and today, February 17, 2025, I have 1 sponge left. I’m buying them again. They are an incredibly strong sponge and I really like how they clean my cast irons, diamond cookware, and everything in between. Never damaged anything I’ve owned. They are long lasting. Dried quick, so to not generate bacteria. Thick and eco friendly! 10/10 recommended!
