Being the president of a motorcycle club and wanting that life with his brother is hard to balance.Eventually, pasts and enemies catch up with them both, putting everything and their fairytale in jeopardy. If you love the Stone Riders series and the Rake Forge University series then this book will blow your mind.When I really enjoy a book I read it slow. I take everything in and don’t want it to end. This was one of those books. It was brilliant.

On the Edge of my Seat!
[...]My Darling Mayhem was a wonderful, strong opening to the Mayhem Riot series! I was so excited to revisit some characters I’ve enjoyed before and meet new people we hadn’t met before now.I was intrigued by Wren and the mystery of her backstory. Honestly I was anxious about how things would play out later in the story because of it. I loved that she and Archer would verbally spar and keep each other on their toes. I think my favorite part of all was Wren realizing Archer wasn’t the bad news she thought he was.The last few chapters of the book had me on the absolute EDGE of my seat! I couldn’t wait to see how everything would play out and be resolved. I’m DYING to read book two already!Thank you Ashley Munoz for the opportunity to read this book!

My Darling Mayhem is bursting at the seams with some of my favorite tropes – small town, MC, single parent/guardian, found family and second chances.Wren & Archer are my new favorite book couple to obsess over. Give me a strong and confident FMC any day. Wren is fiercely protective of what’s hers, has a mouth that can put some men to shame and while she might be a suburban mom, can throw down with the best of them. And Archer, MC president bad boy who under his cut is really a caretaker, family man and someone who will stop at nothing to protect what’s his. He wants his club at his back and his family by his side and Wren is just the woman for the task.If you’re a fan of her Stone Riders series, love MC, looking for a story filled with steam, suspense and characters you can’t help to love, then this one’s for you!

I had a feeling that I was going to love this book, but love seems like such a simple term for how I felt when I last the last word. Ashley not only gave us a great love story, but the story line was one of her best to date. We got a few twists and turns and even better a couple of cameos that those that have been reading Ashley for a while might have kicked their feet in happiness (it was me, I was kicking my feet). Wren only wanted to stand on her own two feet. As a single mom she is doing everything she can to make sure her son has everything he needs. When their new neighbor rides up on his motorcycle, she knows her carefully planned life is about to go topsy turvy. What she didn’t realize was that the neighbor was also going to be her saving grace when she needs a friend. Archer has one thing on his mind when he moves into his new house, and it wasn’t anything to do with his new gorgeous neighbor. But fate throws them together a few times and that is all that it took for him to know she was his. He might be the President of the Mayhem Riot, but he is on a new mission, win over Wren. Watching how protective Archer is of not just Wren, but also her son Cruz just makes your heart beat a little faster and swoon a lot more. This entire story kept me so engaged, I looked up and realized that 70% of the book flew by and I wasn’t stopping until I was done. Closing the book meant big smiles and that moment when you reflect on their love story.

[...]Ahhh! I loved this book so much. Wren and Archer were perfect for each other. The push and pull between these two was so good. I burned through this book. Didn’t want to put it down. I loved the relationship between Wren and Cruz and how she built a bond with Kane. And the same goes for Archer and Kanes’ bond and him sharing a bond with Cruz. But my favorite was the bond that formed between Cruz and Kane! Those boys are going to be a force and I can’t wait for it. 💓💓💓The plot definitely kept me intrigued and that twist was nowhere on my radar!I liked the little glimpse we got of the Stone Riders! I definitely need to read Rake Forge series because I got a little overwhelmed with all the characters in the last half but that’s totally a me thing! I’m a sucker for the way Ashley writes and this book did not disappoint. This book was just what I needed after finishing Stone Riders.

Wren is a devoted single mom who pours all her love into protecting her son, but when it comes to her own heart, she keeps it tightly guarded. She’s spent years running from a complicated and dangerous past and avoided taking any risks since. That is until she crosses paths with her new next-door neighbor—the president of Mayhem Riot MC.Archer is determined to gain custody of his five-year-old brother, purchasing a home in a small town and attempting to prove he can balance his life as an MC president and a guardian. But nothing could prepare him for his judgemental next-door neighbor. Not how much her dislike of him stings or how much he is attracted to her.My favorite part about this book was uncovering more about Wrens past (🔪 throwing badass) and watching Archer break down her walls while uncovering his own capacity for love was so beautiful. How he loved her the way she needed to be loved and even his own subconscious thoughts changed in how he expressed love to her was so beautifully written.’I wanted to tell her that she made me believe in impossible stories, that I wanted to learn whatever language spoke of midnight caressing her skin and using dialogue like darling because all I’d ever known was mayhem.
