Strong Earthy and Woody
[...]I personally like this scent- it’s very earthy and woody; I also love patchouli and noticed this was a fragrance included as well so no wonder I’m a fan. It’s strong when first applied and lasts for several hours. You don’t need to use a lot. Price is fairly inexpensive for a cologne as well.

Smells Are Confusing
[...]There are so many confusion puns that I want to make. I tested most of them out on my husband and he just groaned, so I call that success. This cologne is indeed confusing, so they didn’t miss completely with the name. As with most fragrances from this house, the bottle is a bit ridiculous. I mean that in the best way possible. It is large and heavy and you will not miss it. The scent is pretty good, masculine, zesty at the start but dries down to a warm and woody base.

Most of these clones have absolutely no staying power. This one, while not perfect, is certainly better than others I have tried. The scent is not overpowering or too strong. Just be careful not to apply too much. (Don’t “bathe” in the stuff!)I would recommend trying this.

[...]There is nothing luxury about this. I rated a 3 because the scent. It confuses me. Where is the cedar and wood? I smell from the bottle, it smells good. But once sprayed, it has my husband smelling like an old man but then again he is an old man. Then, I gave it to my grandson. Thinking he may like it and it would smell different on him. He wears cologne everyday. He has finished some sprays but this one is just sitting there collecting dust. There is no pleasant smell once sprayed and it’s not something I would want to smell especially in a car ride. I guarantee a headache…

[...]This fragrance reminds me of Terre D’Hermes but with less “juiciness” and overt complexity. The predominant note is vetiver. The performance (like a lot of vetiver fragrances) is OK but not so great. You will enjoy the fragrance for 4-5 hours and then it’s gone. Done be shy with this fragrance–give yourself a good 6-8 sprays if you want any projection at all out of this stuff. It smells quite nice and smells like natural vetiver. In fact, if you don’t know what vetiver smells like, then this fragrance will give you a lesson because you can’t miss it.
