Piece design is a little off especially knights but board is beautiful, magnets work perfectly just strong enough to play when board is a little uneven but doesn’t slow down piece movement at all. My grandson was so excited to get this chess set. Not only does it look beautiful. It’s magnetic so the pieces stay on the board for a 10-year-old and four-year-old to play together with. That way the pieces don’t get knocked off and the thing my grandson loves most is that he can store them inside the box in their own unique locations.
