A demon imprinted on me, so I had to turn to the monster king for help.
Instead of actually being useful, King Bane tells me that I should just mate with the demon.
At least, until he also imprints on me.
Then we have no choice but to seal the deal in every way there is.
But his wing of the Manor is quickly overrun with chaos and hatred because of our newfound connection, putting us in yet another predicament.
We have to convince the monsters that I’m a terrible match for both Bane and the demon.
I have to become a target to take the focus off the king, even when it pushes his possessive instincts further than any sane person ever would.
With our lives and the Manor’s stability hanging in the balance, we have to suck it up and make the monsters hate me.
Because being chased out of Mistwood and away from my family entirely?
That would bite even harder than my brand-new mate bond.
*This is a spicy enemies-to-lovers romance with a happily ever after

Karin Randall –
As always, Lola Glass outdid herself once again. I loved the love between Zora and Bane. There is no angst in this book. It’s a happy tale with a happily-ever-after ending. Can’t wait for Avery’s story next. If you’ve never read Lola Glass’ book before, give them a try.. I always know I’m in for a perfect tale with her at the helm.

This book was more relaxed and sweeter than the others! It was totally Bane’s fault, he didn’t act like the others and was immediately fired up! The summary of the book, before I read it, was my least favorite of all, but luckily it was a lot better than I thought! But it was also a bit boring and cheezy

I am loving this series and eating it up like the most delicious chocolate. It is sweet and fun the characters are well rounded and I like that there isn’t a lot of miscommunication and people being stupid but just having pasts that influence their behaviour. None of it is unnecessarily drawn out or frustrating. This book was super fun and I enjoy learning about the different creatures in the world without it being an information dump or heavy world building. Him being a gargoyle made things fun. I also enjoyed the possessiveness with the also not wanting to cause harm to others unnecessarily. Great read. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

If you haven’t read a book by Lola Glass then you haven’t read a great book!
[...]This is by far the very best series I’ve read in a while! Lola Glass has to be the wittiest person I’ve ever read! The humor she brings to her books is LIFE! And this series is no exception. These sisters are the sisters of your heart! She brings every one of them to life with intelligence and strength. The characters are so easy to love! Ms. Lola you are truly amazing!

A siren and a gargoyle
[...]Lola’s books never fail to bring joy, and this one is no different. This time, we follow the enchanting story of Bane and Zora. Their dynamic is truly captivating. Zora is fierce and determined, always knowing exactly what she wants and fearlessly pursuing it, even if it lands her in trouble. Bane, on the other hand, is initially resistant to Zora—until he finds himself irresistibly drawn to her.Lola has an incredible talent for making me deeply invested in her characters and their journeys. The romance is beautifully crafted, with just the right amount of spice. It never feels forced but seamlessly woven into the story. This book is a light, quick read that left me feeling happy and satisfied. This series has been an absolute joyride, and I can’t wait for the next book.

It Got Better!
[...]I have loved everything I’ve read by Ms. Glass but I am not a fan of Zora! She was so obnoxious and mean at the first of the book, I almost quit reading it. It also didn’t have the great plots the demon books had or the character development of the wolf books. The earlier siren books were better but this one was formulaic. Avery’s book will be better. Then maybe vampires??

Love this book!!
[...]H: Bane Monster King (Gargoyle)h: Zora (Siren)In an attempt to channel her inner “Clementine” Zora decided to flirt with one of the monsters. Unfortunately she flirted with the wrong one and he decided to imprint on her w/out her consent and pretty much became obsessed with her. Bane trying to help Zora in this situation saw how strong, confident Zora is and he then imprinted on her as well. Zora and Bane had no other choice but to complete the mating so they did. By Far this is the best story of the series (my opinion) . I love how attentive and lovable Bane is with Zora!

😍 Zora and Bane!
[...]I’ve been eagerly waiting for this book since book three was released! It was so good I finished it in one sitting! I love the siren sisters. All their stories are so unique. I was curious to see who Zora would end up with. I had a feeling that she would worm her way into his calm exterior. There were a few surprises that I wasn’t expecting. 😂 With Lola at the helm, there almost always are. Bane was a complete darling! He was all in from the moment he imprinted. His gentleness and affection towards Zora was top-notch mate material. Now I can’t wait to read what happens with Avery! I always had a feeling she would end up with the infamous dragon king because of how much she liked sneaking onto the roof at Vamp Manor.

packed with spice, fun, and a perfect happy ending
[...]*Love Bites Really Hard* is an engaging, spicy read that balances humor, romance, and a bit of drama. Zora, a fierce siren, quickly became a character I liked more than I expected. Her tough attitude hides her fear, and as the story unfolds, I gained a deeper understanding of her. She’s an excellent match for Bane, the calm and stoic King of Monsters. Despite her fiery personality, Bane handles her with patience and understanding, and when he gets possessive, it’s seriously hot.The plot is light-hearted but not without its twists—Zora struggles with her feelings while dealing with a vengeful dragon king and the last siren. Though it’s the fourth book in the *Mated to the King* series, you can jump right in without feeling lost, though I bet you’ll want to read the others once you’re hooked.Lola Glass creates a world full of magic, sizzling romance, and emotional depth, focusing on themes of self-acceptance and trust. Zora and Bane’s relationship is full of tension, sparks, and undeniable chemistry. If you enjoy paranormal romance with a dose of enemies-to-lovers and forced proximity, *Love Bites Really Hard* is a must-read. It’s packed with spice, fun, and a perfect happy ending.
