[...]The retractable cord is what made me want to select this. Normally we have charge data cords lying about in the cars. The base is movable but as to how much depends on where your lighter connection is. The blue screen stayed lit after the car was turned off. Not sure if that would cause a slow drain on the battery or not so I unplugged it from the cigarette lighter just in case after use. The charge cord pulled out easily for me to connect my phone. The picture in the ad shows people in the back seat using it from the front of the car. My cord was not that long to do that. The retractor didn’t work smoothly at all though it would finally retract each time after multiple tries. I was reminded after using it that it was for charging only, and it would not do a data connection. I give it a 3-star. I won’t be using it for myself, but it will come in handy when I have a passenger. With the android and i-phone charge cord option, passengers should be set.

[...]This a good charger but be sure to know how much wattage your car can handle. I wasn’t paying attention when I bought this and accidentally blew my fuse because it was too much wattage for what my car could handle (up to 50). Great use while it lasted though so no complaints.
