So far everything seems to be in working order and the shipping was extremely fast which was awesome because since my last phone mount broke, I couldn’t get a new one soon enough! The notch to connect the charger just barely fits to connect, so any charger with a thicker head may have some challenges. I wish it was slightly more adjustable to lock into the exact angle that I like when driving, but its pretty close, and will definitely do the trick! For those of you who get this, the button to open the sides is at the top behind the holder. You simply press this to release the side grips, and then place your phone and squeeze back the clips to secure the phone!

[...]This is my third (!) car cell phone holder. The first stuck on the dash with adhesive. After a week or so it kept falling off. So, into the trash.Next was one that screwed onto the vent. It was great until it wasn’t because the screw part kept unscrewing on rough roads. Another into the trash.This phone holder proves the old saying that the third time is the charm. It is sturdy, easy to install on the vent, holds steady and it is adjustable for just about any size phone. I have a Pixel 8 and it fits nicely. You can adjust it for any angle. It clips onto the vent instead of screwing on. I suspect that this is reason it doesn’t so far wobble.I have had it for a week. I do have hope that this phone holder will be my “forever friend”. I especially like the easy installation and the fact that it holds steady.

A decent phone holder for small to mid-size phones.
[...]My older phone holder broke, recently, so I ordered this model as a replacement. The price seemed decent, and it seemed to be positional enough to mimic the features I liked on my old phone holder. Like the previous one, this one attaches to the louvers of my dashboard vent. Using a hooked metal bar to anchor itself, turning a knob tightens it into place. The phone is slid in (from the top) into a pair of clams that can be pushed together with a simple squeeze with your hand. To release the side clamps, simply push a button on the top, back side of the holder.This holder is a bit smaller than my last one, and my Otterbox-enclosed iPhone was a fairly tight fit in the unit – even before trying to squeeze the clamps on the sides. If my phone was any larger, this cell phone holder wouldn’t have worked for me. You should be aware of this before you order it.The unit seems pretty sturdy, and by loosening a ring on the back of the holder you can adjust the swivel of it to make your phone stand vertically or horizontally.So far, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this unit to others.
