Works Well
[...]This thing is very sleek. The first thing that I noticed was that it was very thin and light, barely thinker than its USB C port. The readability of the screen is good, and the response time for writing is good as well. So far battery life is excellent. The only little thing I would add, is you would prob need a case to help protect it and somewhere to stash the pen.. it doesn’t attached in anyway to the device itself. It can connect to your computers and is able to read ebooks and such. Overall a good product

Good hardware, hope software gets better
[...]This e-ink notepad thing comes with a pen, and I think this thing is definitely oriented more toward note-taking because a lot of the features are for note-taking. The UI of this is somewhat mistranslated in certain parts but still readable and understandable overall. I think the software for this thing is still being ironed out, as right now, I can barely customize this—I can’t even change the lock screen. But all the basic functions that you’d expect from an e-ink note/ebook are all there and function correctly, it’s just the “quality of life” things that are missing. They also recommend you log in/register a Kloudnote account. I went to their website, and it also has a very barebones look. The build quality of this thing is great, the materials feel nice in hand, and it also gives off a premium quality vibe, so I definitely think this will be a good product with better software. I think the developers are working toward that because once I connected this thing to WiFi and updated the operating system, the UI looked a lot better. Overall, not a great product at the moment, but I think it will get better in the future.

Features are raw and lumpy, but the functionality is there.
[...]Ok, so this was a blast to play with. It is by no means a polished software experience, but the hardware is brilliant. The paperwhite screen sometimes has a bit of a feint afterimage of previous screens, and it doesn’t go full black/white as often as other devices I’ve seen, so that might be linked. one minor thing is that after using this for a few hours, I still can’t tell if there is a screen cover on there to peel. The edges are raised just enough that I keep wanting to pick off the coating that I’ve already convinced myself isn’t there. Oh well…on to the features. The connectivity is really excellent, offering their own cloud account and also access to box or OneDrive. It updated automatically for me with no issue. I was able to copy my .epub and .pdf e-books to the reader no problem, and this thing is great for reading as long as you have adequate lighting…which my house doesn’t because of all the luminous screens I use. So *that’s* what the bedside lamp is for. This thing is lightweight, extremely thin, and feels good to hold, but the glass on both sides can be a bit slick. Under the hood this is a complete android device, so you get access to several well-known android things, including plugging into your computer and copying files, Bluetooth for headphones to use this for audiobooks, and access to a small app store with 20 apps at the time of this review, including Kindle, VLC, AnkiDroid (flash cards) and a few other useful apps. For the notes section, there are dozens of templates and the pen felt good to use. It was pressure sensitive and the “eraser” on the back works as expected. There are a few places where the choices seem odd or missing, and translation errors make menu items not as informative as they could be, but there has already been a software update, and I’m hoping to see more of them. There is even a feedback option right there to send in your gripes…happy days! All in all, a great little toy if you’re up for a bit of rough edges and tinkering.

amazing!!
[...]I wrote a huge long review and accidentally deleted it. so i will try again to explain how incredible this tablet is. So I really wanted the remarkable for many many years. I had no reason to want it as i really was just curious how it worked. I will tell you this right here satisfied that for me plus so much more. I am a Kindle owner as well as this tablet works as a digital notebook but also a kindle. It has an app store so you’re able to download the amazon kindle app as well as about 3 pages of other apps to download and boy let me tell you those apps are amazing, there is a web browser, a library to basically rent any book you can think of and it uses PDF files as well as ePUB. both work tremendously well to read books although i do prefer the ePub because you can do so much, you can highlight stuff, search webs for words and dictionary, you can change it to be horizontal or vertical which is amazing because of the size it truly does feel like you’re reading with a real book. You can even make notes directly on the book if you’d like in your own writing. Its very thin and lightweight and easy to carry. As for the notes part its incredible. you can write with many different types of pencils or pens, it has an eraser that works flawlessly by just using the back of your pencil like normal. You can add as many pages as you like (for example for one of my college classes i have over 20 pages of notes) you can change the size of the pen, you can add voice memos and connect bluetooth to listen, you can even have AI take your notes and convert them into computer text although my handwriting is so terrible it had a lot of mistakes. Its amazing. Also I love the update they did recently so i highly suggest out of the box to update it immediately. The company did A TON of updates which really improved the product for me. They even changed their logo which looks more sophisticated and clean as well as making the home page easier to navigate and use. You can connect email although google keeps blocking it which is probably a problem with google. Its much larger than my kindles but the amount of books i can store is amazing. The pen is very responsive and writes immediately as i write. Theres no subscription like other brands you can connect your onedrive and other online accounts. The only small issues i have which are not really issues is the battery is great when not in use but in use it’s just like any other device you own which is nothing just to add to a charger at night also lastly the pen. I wish it could somehow magnetically connect or if they made a case for it because i am so nervous to lose the pen and really without that you can’t use it to its fully ability! but 5 stars all around honestly and i’m so happy to have this!
