This is barely okay. Might be good if you want the tablet lower than the clamp, but otherwise, it’s not that great. The stem won’t hold up my tablet, which defeats the entire purpose. No matter how I adjust the neck, my tablet keeps drooping down until something else is supporting it – making the holder redundant. The claw to hold the tablet is also very shallow, so if you have a case on your tablet, it gets really precarious. I’d have liked at least small tabs to hold my tablet in place, or a wider grip area. As-is, I would only trust using this over a soft surface. The only reason this is 2 stars is because it’s VERY portable and the clip is easily and reliably tightened, making it secure to whichever surface you put it on.Unfortunately, this has some flaws to work out. Might work better for lighter devices!

Works well with a phone, but you have to keep the coils fairly tight to support a tablet which reduces the stretch radius. I find the clamps rather flimsy, and they can loosen when you adjust the positioning, and the more you adjust, the more the clamps seem to warp. The clamps are also short, which reduces the stability, but they can fit various widths of edges (table or shelf). The arm is very flexible and allows altering viewing angle and feels good quality. Overall, sufficient for minimal use (not switching devices frequently) in one location on a sturdy base.

Works as long as it is curled like in the photo.
[...]This gooseneck tablet holder isn’t the strongest. Although it isn’t made of the strongest material, it works if you use it correctly. The gooseneck has to be swirled around in a few circles, or it won’t hold up my Kindle. You do need to screw it onto a table edge or something else that it can clamp onto.

One of the better tablet holders!!
[...]I’ve been through a few of these and they break on me easily, I guess I’m aggressive with my kindle reading haha? This one is great, long and bendy but stays in place well. I’ve been using for over a month with no issues!!!

Doesnt work as I need it to
[...]So I am not really happy with this. The holder comes well packaged and looks great. Attaching the holder to the mount was easy. I did like how easy it was to tighten the clamp with the wide adjuster, as opposed to really thin ones that hurt your fingers. Thats where all the positives end for me. So the gooseneck is so stiff that I could barely get it uncoiled. It was light fighting with a ticked off alligator. Then when I thought I finally got it right where I wanted it, I had to figure out how top widen the spring loaded tablet holder enough to get my kindle in. Once I finally got that done after using both hands and a forearm while leaning against the wall, I let go and, Flop. The gooseneck flopped right over. I tried fighting with it again for a little while but finally gave up because nothing I did would get it to actually fully support the kindle. Then I tried to take the kindle out and not thinking I just slip it out. The spring loaded side snapped back so fast that i lost some skin because I didn’t get my hand out of the way fast enough. Throwing it away.

Good phone holder. May get in the way of the camera.
[...]This gooseneck holder is pretty substantial. It needs to be to support phones/tablets. I wanted to use this to hold my phone while I took photos and videos but the mount got in the way of my phone camera. Something it wasn’t necessarily intended for so I can’t fault it. It holds the phone fine though and the spring clip has good tension. The gooseneck is thick and sturdy but a little springy/bouncy. A piece of foam around the neck near the base may make it feel a bit tighter. I like that the base clamp can accommodate a thick table top (over 2” thick) however it feels like thin plastic and every time I tighten it down, I feel like it’s going to break. I am careful but if you really crank this thing, I think it would crack. Also the clip that holds the phone mount to the gooseneck/ball feels like it could snap if pulled off and on frequently. I’ll just plan to leave it connected.

Disappointed
[...]I like the length of the product, however, i am disappointed bwcause its really not able to hold much weight. I got it for my kindle to help me when reading at night and to hold the screen closer to me when i am sitting on the couch. This is pretty flimsy and the cord has to be more coiled to hold it steady. Otherwise, the product is decent, it would probably hold a phone relatively well, but anything heavier is hard for it to hold up.

Great tablet holder
[...]This is super easy to put anywhere. It grips the side of my bed frame, my couch arm, my desk everything. It’s super easy to put my phone or tablet in it and it has a strong grip.I really like using this with my tablet, running the app Superdisplay, and using it as a second monitor. Thanks to this I can watch my tablet in the kitchen hands-free while I cook.

Good for Front Camera Streaming
[...]The holder is so firm and adjustable. It perfectly holds my iPhone but is not so great for my iPad as it is a bit heavy compared to the iPhone. The drawback of this is I cannot record a video from my iPhone’s back camera because of its design. But It suits well for someone who is looking for a holder that makes hands-free devices and front cam recording.

This is Your Jew Favorite Kindle Accessory
[...]I have today that this is definitely your new favorite Kindle accessory. The clamp firmly holds your kindle on one end and the other end firmly clamps onto your nightstand. bed frame, etc. In between you can bend the extension into the shape you need to support your Kindle at just the ruggg level for reading so uou can snuggle up and not worry about “turning the pages” manually. Paired with a remote – it’s utterly magical. It works great and isn’t too pensive and you’re going to love it.
