It had no backlight, and the interface had become quite outdated, so I decided it was time to get a new version.I ended up buying the simplest model, but in blue for a change. I’ve been using it for a few days now, and it’s pure delight! Finally, I can read in bed before sleep, thanks to the backlight. It’s very convenient!I also love that it’s entirely plastic. My old Kindle had a part made of soft-touch material, which collected dust and fingerprints. I was always worried about its appearance. The fully plastic Kindle is much better for me!I only regret that it doesn’t have Insights. I still have to track my reading stats through the smartphone app. It would be great if Amazon added this feature to their e-readers because I absolutely love that statistic!
