★ #1 BESTSELLER IN THE ENTIRE STORE! ★

From New York Times & USA Today bestselling author Rina Kent comes a dark college romance about a villainous artist and his obsession with a mafia princess.

I’m out for revenge.

After careful planning, I gave the man who messed with my family a taste of his own medicine.

I thought it’d end there.

It didn’t.

Landon King is a genius artist, a posh rich boy, and my worst nightmare.

He’s decided that I’m the new addition to his chess game.

Too bad for him, I’m no pawn.

If he hits, I hit back, twice as hard and with the same hostility.

He says he’ll ruin me.

Little does he know that ruination goes both ways.

This book can be read on its own, but for a better understanding of the world, you might want to start with God of Malice.

What can I say, really?I was a little afraid to read this book, because everything that Rina’s writes give me a huge hang over later and I am both anxious and terrified at the same time when her books are released.Buuut, as usual it was perfection. She focused on the growth of these characters and Mia was amazing and strong. We usually see a lot of strong heroines that listen more to their body’s than to their minds and Mia was spectacular reading the situations and listening to the voice of reason. Landon was something out of this world, he was the description of narcissism and hilarious at the same time. I loved to see him making an effort and loved more to see his relationship with Brandon and how it was developed in this book.I know that Brans and Nikos book will be something that I will mourn after reading. The tension it’s just growing and it’s promising a lot of tears. And I’m just there for it!I wish that I lived in Rinas brain just to live this characters and their intensity. I now understand why she had to slow down a bit with her releases, it’s absolutely a roller coaster of emotions that needs time to be digested. I have some books to read now and I just can’t. I need to mourn the end of this book first and have a time to savory the taste that was left. This author it’s a sure thing, EVERYTHING she writes will be amazing you can buy it without reading the blurb because it’s just amazing and perfection!I’m writing this review with a sense of longing, I will wait patiently for December for more of a taste of this goddess of an author!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75/6.🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5.GOR was one of my most anticipated reads of this year and I have to say that it didn’t disappoint. I was very intrigued to see how Rina would write Landon in a way that we as readers would fall in love with because he was, for the past 3 books, the villain so she had a tough job ahead of her.The first 50% of this book I felt very unsure of Landon and my question throughout this part was how I would like him enough to want him to end up with Mia. I was intrigued and interested in this first part of the book because we learn how Landon’s mind worked and what he was all about. I was keeping track of things we would do that made him more likable to me. 2 or 3 things i took note of, one of them being that he learned sign language to communicate with Mia and understand her and the other one was consent. He might have done some questionable things but whenever Mia would say stop, he would. I do love someone who understands what consent is.Mia was an interesting character. I loved her style and how she wouldn’t hesitate to hit someone, namely Landon, when it was called for.I loved that Landon, knowingly and unknowingly, helped Mia discover her sexuality.I liked her relationship with Brandon, Landon’s brother, and Maya, her sister, too.The other 50% of this book was what won me over. Landon continued his little acts of affection either because it was recommended by his brother and sister or because he knew that “normal” people would expect such things. He also did some impromptu things like take care of Mia once they had sexy time or just watering the plants she took care of in his art studio.I loved that Landon took the initiate to ask for help in dealing with Mia because somehow she was more than revenge or obsession.I loved the conversation he had with Aiden. I just love how Aiden supports his people no matter how neurodivergent they are.I love seeing the improvement in Landon’s relationship with Glyndon and Brandon. I also loved that despite everything Landon did and said to everyone in his life, his brother and sister, still wanted to protect them and they still loved him. I especially loved reading the text exchange Brandon had with Mia and how he expressed his feelings towards Landon. He really loved Landon even though Landon was most of the time in a way a bully to him.Long story short Landon pulled it off. He won me over with his efforts to be someone to Mia but also with his little gestures. The third act conflict was something else. I wasn’t expecting it especially coming from the parties involved. Not the best one imo but it wasn’t enough for me to lower my rating either.I loved knowing more about Brandon and I love the guy. I must note that he has a suppressed side which to me translates to a dark one which means this very well be what connects him with Nikolai. I have more thoughts on both Niko and Brandon but basically I’m even more excited for their book after this one. It’s gonna be an epic pairing and I genuinely can’t wait to read it.

I really enjoyed this book! Loved Lan and Mia, I think they’re my favourite characters (so far) from the series! The only thing is that the plot about the kidnapper could have been better – I felt that it was a bit rushed but other than that, it was an amazing book!

First things first!!!! Great appreciation for the author because how can you write the characters so well? You would have to learn so much about characters like Lan, Eli and Killian when they cannot feel like others and are completely different. Still you delivered the characters so well that I am in awe. I did not only fall in love with Lan and Mia but all the characters..and to be honest I hated Landon before reading his story but ma’am hats off to you that you made me change my mind. The whole series is well written and also I’m looking forward to God of ruin and also Eli and Ava’s story.

Hot, Fun, & Just A Little Deranged
Hot, Fun, & Just A Little DerangedQuotes:📖I’m standing in front of none other than the Landon King. A charming god, a genius sculptor, and, most importantly, an insufferable b🤬tard. The devil works fast, but Landon King works faster.A sadistic grin lifts my lips. Mia will run, and not only will I catch her, but I’ll also 🤬 her until she can’t move. Until she understands there’s no other 🤬 that’ll be inside her but mine.Thoughts: 💡There were parts that I really enjoyed and parts that really frustrated me. The story itself was pretty hot and I enjoyed the relationship between the two characters and the weird bromance that exists within the Elites and the Heathens. I didn’t particularly enjoy the double standards for the guys and girls, buut it added an element of realism. I think the most frustrating thing for me is that details change between each story. It’s probably not something most people notice, but it is one of the things that brought my rating down.Writing Mechanics: ✍️This writing style is very reminiscent of early Rina Kent works.Fun Bits:⚜️ Interesting Characters⚜️ Strong FMC that uses ASL to speak⚜️ Funny Banter⚜️ Bromances⚜️ Smutty Scenes 🔥🔥Important Note:✨This is part of a standalone series, but is related to other books and other series written by Rina Kent. ⚠️Dub-Con⚠️Stats:📊Spice Scale: 4 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/ 5Character Dev: 4 💙💙💙💙/5Genre: Dark Romance📕Tropes: Billionaires, Organized Crime, neurodivergent, Bromance📘POV: Dual 👩‍❤️‍👨CW: Dub Con, Violence, Gore, Death⚠️

    this couple was everything 🩷😮‍💨🥹
of all the reviews i have seen about this series, God of Ruin is always rated in the bottom, but I beg to DIFFER, out of all the unhinged men, I think Landon had wayyy more character behind the psychopathic tendencies. He was like a breath of fresh air to read about and surprisingly funny. He also had the most sex appeal and made the intimate moments more palpable. His story had depth too, and the fact that he not only help Mia find herself he also found himself through her, I loved this and I can’t waittt to read God of War 🩷🥹

A dark edge of your seat thrilling read!
This review may contain spoilers, so fair warning, upon reading the review.Book Evaluation:Plot: 🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️World Building:🌎🌎🌎🌎Cover:📔📔📔📔📔Hero: 🦸🏻🦸🏻🦸🏻🦸🏻Heroine:🦸🏻‍♀️🦸🏻‍♀️🦸🏻‍♀️🦸🏻‍♀️Intimacy Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Relationship Building: 💒💒💒💒Heart & Feels:💞💞💞💞Witty/Banter/Reaction of Laughter: 😂😂😂😂Page Turner Level:📖📖📖Ending:🧧🧧🧧🧧Overall View: ✨✨✨✨First ImpressionsGod of Ruin is the most latest release of the “Legacy of Gods” series and in this one we have the story between Landon and Mia. And this story was just as sexy and hilarious and crazy as the previous books that we have seen within the series so far. And I have to say that I went into this one pretty blind. I just knew that it was pretty well loved for Rina Kent readers, so I was really hoping that this one worked for me. The pacing was a bit off at times and I had some issues with the plot as a while, but it was still a solid read that kept me entertained.First LineTonight, a certain eyesore presence will get a taste of his own medicine.SummaryMia and Landon are on opposites of a rivalry and Mia is out to get justice for the harm done to her brother by Landon King. She wants to give him a taste of his justice and when she goes undercover and has an entanglement with him and comes out on top, he knows it was her and he will be coming for her. Mia also suffers from a disability as she was kidnapped as a child and ever since hasn’t spoken a word. But Mia is strong willed and loves her family with a passion. When Landon discovers who she is, he plans on hunting her down and bringing her to her knees, but it doesn’t go quite as planned when he falls hard for Mia and he will have to work hard to bring a truce between their families and prove himself to her…What I LovedThere are many elements to this book that I truly enjoyed. First off, no one writes the crazy playboys like Rina Kent. There is something about how she writes a anti hero that immediately pulls you into the story. And if you want to try out this author and enjoy a good dark romance, this series is the best to start with. It is connected to other series but I highly recommend this series as I think its some of her best writing that she has ever done. From the beginning you are swept up into the story, the first couple of chapters are very compelling and you will hard put being able to place this book down at first. There is some fantastic chemistry that sets the tone of the story from the beginning. We also see how these two play with each other and get off on their games. Landon and Mia make such a fabulous couple and when they work out all the kinks in their relationship—its *chefs kiss* good. I absolutely was entertained with their romance. It gets a bit crazy at times because Landon is not normal lol But Rina Kent really writes Landon in such a way that you are intrigued even if you are disturbed by some of the actions that he takes. There is also a mix of angst in the story. The first aspect is in the relationship itself. But then its also the forbidden aspects to the story. We see how Landon and Mia also have to work with the conflicts of her family. And it gets pretty intense at times. There are also surprises we get in the end involving Mia’s past kidnapping and the reveals at the end here—-I DID NOT see coming. Rina Kent really knows how to shock her audience and deliver a solid read to get behind on.What I Struggled WithThe pacing was really off in this book. At times I was super engaged, and at other times I just wanted to skim through parts haha It just felt so off at times and the flow could have been written more smoothly.Overall ViewGod of Ruin is a superb read that delivers thrills and chills, spooky vibes, and a forbidden affair that culminates in a satisfying ending that leaves you burning for more…Book Details (also in my shelves)Sub Genre: Contemporary Romance, Dark Romance, New AdultCharacter Types: Psychopath, Alpha hero, Anti HeroThemes: Angst, Dirty TalkinTropes: Forbidden Love, Enemies to LoversBook PerspectiveDuo POVRelationship Conflict vs Plot ConflictA mix of bothSong This Book InspiresRoman Empire by MissioRecommendation For Reading OrderYes I would recommend reading these in order

    Interesting story
I have loved each story so much and continue to love them. It was refreshing to see Landons point of view finally after seeing him starting trouble alot and seeing how his siblings have seen him over the years. I agree him and Killian are alot alike but we just got Killains story first. He is self assured and unapologetic about his actions. Dark themes theoughout but no cheating of any kind. Steam is definitely there but not the focal point. Mia is strong willed and takes a stand, but also timid at times. She is not a push over by any means. Seeing the chemistry and banter was the biggest part of this story to me. Red flags throughout but anyone reading a dark story is going to love our antihero. Another great story I couldn’t put down.
