Aunque esta es de las versiones un poco más costosas comparada con otras similares no me arrepiento. Porque es maciza y el material resistente… puede ser un poco dificil de usar porque hay que aplicar un poco de fuerza, como un golpe en seco para partir algo duro, como una papa por ejemplo, pero el material de buena calidad aguanta este tipo de maniobra. En general, cumple mis expectativas… las cuchillas muy afiladas y espero sigan asÃEl espacio para picar es pequeño por lo que si hay que partir la verdura o fruta que se vaya a picar, pero aún asà ahorro tiempo. The amount of time it saves, it is totally worth it. Blades are supper sharp. Easily cuts all the veggies. You get 5 different extensions with it. I think they are more than enough. I like the look and design. The pieces are so easy to change. Very sturdy material. They provided to different things to help clean for safety. Its a bit noisy when you chop but so is chopping on a board. It saves so much time. Now I chop veggies for a week in one go.

Great at chopping but a hassle to clean
[...]I was really excited to try this vegetable chopper, and to its credit, it does a fantastic job at cutting vegetables and onions quickly and evenly. However, the downside is the cleaning process. After chopping onions, I noticed that a lot of small pieces get stuck in the grooves of the plastic container, which makes cleaning a long and frustrating task. It takes considerable effort to remove all the bits, and honestly, it’s so time-consuming that I find it easier and faster to just use a knife. While the chopping performance is great, the cleanup process really takes away from the convenience this product promises.

The reviews that state it’s hard to use or take apart or someone defective are not tethered in reality and probably shouldn’t operate cars, let alone a sharp kitchen gadget. Seriously. It’s the simplest of devices.I will say USE caution when using them because they ARE very sharp. But the little brush and “poker outter” comb thing is very helpful.Just get one. It makes chopping veggies less of a chore and you can really take out the day’s frustrations when you whack down on the lid (but not too hard, it is a brittle plastic) 😂

Easy to cut food!

Additionally, some of the grates/inserts can be a bit tricky to clean. Other than that, it works great overall and significantly simplifies the cutting process.

Great Kitchen Gadget – Must Have
[...]I was looking at all the similar chopping units on Amazon, debating on which to purchase. Took me two weeks to decide. Reading all the reviews, videos, pros & cons etc. Decided on this one. This is a great little unit. Loved it out of the box. Perfect size. Better for storing. Everything fits inside the unit for storage. Shorter container than others. That’s OK. Not to worry, just have to empty more if your doing a lot. Pieces are very sharp and durable construction. Fit tightly. Plastic is heavy. I’m very happy with it. Tonight I chopped 3 medium onions (it took about 1.5 onions before I had to empty) not a problem for me. Cut 16 oz of small button mushrooms, and 2 small zucchini in no time flat. Nice uniform pieces. using the (medium square cut) Perfect size for stir fry or cooked vegetables, potato salad etc. Cleaning was a breeze! The lid comes off easily, (not a flimsy hinge like some others I looked at) and comes with cleaning tools (brush and comb like tool) Some other reviews stated getting plastic pieces in food. I didn’t have any. You do have to cut down the onion or harder veggies to about 1″ to 1.5″ then press. Not try to shove a half an onion in there. That’s where the pieces are coming from (operator error) because it will cause the thin cutting blades to warp under force, and touch the holding grid, and shave plastic pieces in the process. That was one drawback of deciding on one of these was the potential of plastic ending up in the food. And the second was the hinging mechanism. Very happy with both. Doesn’t come with 15 or 22 pieces, comes with the basics most people would use. I’d rather have a product that works rather great and lasts, than a unit that has more pieces that will break & become unusable. If your thinking about buying one of these. BUY IT!

Chopped pounds and pounds of onions effortlessly, quickly, and with nary a tear!

My husband thought I was nuts for volunteering us for this job but that is because he did not know what I knew, which was that I’d seen this chopper recommended on several cooking videos and was just looking for a reason to purchase it for our home and this was just the reason I needed! The chopper arrived quickly, as promised, and as fast as I peeled the onions, he chopped them! In fact, he had to wait for me to finish peeling the onion a few times. He really LOVES using this chopper and now looks for recipes that call for chopped vegetables and fruits. He has taken over the cooking the last few years now that I am not well and for the first time, he is smiling as he preps the foods….guys and their gadgets, huh? This chopper does all sorts of chopping, dicing and slicing in various sizes and shapes and does it very well. Clean up is easy, too, because it can be put in dishwasher. Of course, the reason it does such a great job is because the blades are precise and sharp so be smart and be careful when using this chopper to ensure that you are only chopping food and not your fingers! We are both very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.
