Wow, just wow 😮 This book is probably one of the best I have ever read. (Not that I should be surprised when these two authors deliver)I stayed up all night reading it and then feeling such a loss that the sequel isn’t available yet.I would swap my husband for the chance to read no 2 😂 Such a good plot and the characters are so endearing. Hats off to the authors as it left me desperate to know what happens next. Cliffhanger really has me holding on by my nails.

When Tate releases a new book, I read it.This book follows Evelyn as she starts fresh at a new college, essentially fort knox and the school to everyone who is a someone. She has alot of trauma being the sole survivor of a school shooting, only there’s a catch……. she was the intended target. The man hunting her is still on the loose. In comes 5 guys who are prestigious and influential in society and become her guardians. Naturally, things don’t go smoothly. Tensions are high in more ways than one with her and her 5 new housemates.There is danger, high emotions due to trauma, lust/spice, laughter due to the friendships involved. This book had me hooked. Now to wait for the conclusion to that cliffy.

[...]I loved everything about this book. It was fast paced with steamy scenes and lots action. It’s the kind of book you stay up past your bedtime to finish reading. I read this in a day and have no regrets about not getting anything else done. I cannot wait for book two in this duet. Another fire book from two amazing authors.

[...]This one pulled me in but how could it not? Tate James and Jaymin Eve are a great writing duo. Eves story is so crazy because she doesn’t know or understands what is going on behind her back. The ending was classic as it was unexpected. I can’t wait to see how the guys respond to what happened and I hope Lacey is ok despite being Conner’s “girlfriend”.I love the dynamic between all the guys, except Andrew I don’t like him yet and I can’t stand Laura his girlfriend. The way he reacted to Eve after she was injured is what caused her to leave in the first place plus no one explained the danger, she is not a reckless person but I think if they had told her about the possible danger she wouldn’t have left like she did.I also want to know who is trying to kill her and why? Does it have to do with her father or something else? I assume it’s because of him but I have many questions.

[...]4.5 starsOk, I have been jonesing for a new book by these 2, and when I saw it was like a one bed troupe but a house, I said sign me up. Evelyn is starting at a new college because she had to move because of a school shooting, and the man shot her and killed many others. This school is prestigious, and she has no idea how her guardians got her there. She has a cover story and a whole lot of trauma, but she is going to make it try. Very soon, somehow, she finds herself in very big trouble with the Dean over a fight at school to the point where he makes all the people in the fight live in a dorm. The funny thing is it’s 4 guys and the hot professors she lusting after and her. Evie has major ptsd so for most of the book she is triggered alot, Andrew is the president son has some major ocd issues, have is a silent man that can’t be touched, brodie is the actor and goof ball and Connor is a scary guy who father is ahead of a gang. Ethan, the professor, is a Connor half-brother also a part of the gang. There Alot of secrets that she doesn’t know about, but Andrew has a debt to keep her safe. The story and plot are def building, and you’re starting to see the start of relationships form and who is after herm that cliffhanger though wow ! Great time, I can’t give it a 5 because it is very unfinished. Obviously, need a lot more info on characters, but this was a great time.

[...]You two cannot leave me hanging like that! I am dying here just freaking dying! Ok for real these two write so seamlessly together you can’t tell it is a collaboration at all. I love our clueless yet plucky heroine the guys are all yummy but Andrew and I have a feeling when he finally pulls his head out of his hindquarters he is going to be a mega Dom but we will see. Very nice storyline and character development with good action and well done spice. I am very interested to see where this story goes next! I will warn you that cliffhanger is a killer!
