   I’ve tried numerous moisturers / night creams through the years and this is the only thing that seems to work for my dry skin. Not only does it do what it’s intended to do, the texture itself is amazing and smooth. I also love that you can big it in such a large quantity. Would recommend for anything with dry skin.

   Great for sensitive skin
   I have used this consistently for several week so far, and it is a great winter moisturizer (have not tried it during warmer months yet). It is very hydrating but not oily or greasy, and it does not irritate my sensitive skin.

   Great Stuff
   It is some of the best to use for healing chapped, split hands that I’ve ever used. I have extremely sensitive skin and this even beats what my Skin Doc gave me a script for another lotion. I’ve used it for many years and it helps with any rash as well. just good stuff.

   acne prone and milia skin review – February 23, 2025

   Doesn’t feel oily
   I’ve used it for 3 days, I have sensitive, oily skin but during the winter I have dry, chapped skin. I am also prone to acne and milia. So far, I like that it doesn’t make my skin feel super oily, which lots of creams tend to do. I also like that my skin feels like it’s absorbing the cream, most seem to feel like they just sit on top. Right now, it’s too soon to notice if it clogs my pores, so I’ll have to do an update on that.Overall it’s great, but I would pair it with another lotion for extra moisture, because I feel like it didn’t help enough with that tight, dry feeling.

    Cools my rosacea redness and calms my itchy skin
    I’ve suffered with rosacea (Erythematotelangiectatic rosacea: you know, broken blood vessels and flushing redness) my entire life. I’ve spent YEARS covering it up with makeup, but recently began the quest to find something that works and would free me from covering up with foundation. After only 2 weeks of using this, the redness has subsided so much that it actually looks like I have foundation on! The first picture (where I’m all red lol) was taken November 19, and the second (where I’m smiling because the red is gone) was taken on December 6. And no, I didn’t make ANY edits to that picture. That’s just how well this stuff worked for me.The only downside I’ve found is that my skin is EXTREMELY dry (living in a desert doesn’t help either), so no, this does not help with severe dryness.     A holy grail product for a reason
    When the weather gets cooler and drier, I need more moisture like most of us do. It’s also the time of year I do more skin treatments because the sun isn’t so strong and I can hide any rushing or adjustments with my maturing, very dry, very sensitive skin. This is not heavy at all and absorbs nicely but provides great hydration. I react poorly to products that are too occlusive and rich but my water-based gel creams aren’t enough in fall and winter.I’ve used this for years and it’s pricey but worth it. It isn’t as calming as water-based products on my skin, in spite of containing naturally soothing oatmeal, but it doesn’t sting too much on raw-er skin adapting to retinol and improves the skin barrier. If you can, grab it on sale! No irritating fragrance is a huge plus, too, if you are sensitive to it.

    Breaks the winter-dryness cycle
    I’ve been using this Ultra Repair Cream for just a couple of weeks now, but with just twice-a-day use, it’s broken the cycle of papery, peeling, winter-dry fingertips. I bought a second tube for my mother, as our shared profession requires a lot of hand-washing. We both like that it’s very hydrating without being heavy or greasy, and absorbs quickly, leaving no discernible scent. Even between applications, when our work requires that we have constantly clean, product-free hands, they no longer feel dry and begging for instant moisturization.For an anti-aging boost, at night my mother applies her vitamin C/peptide serum or a retinol serum to the backs of her hands before massaging in this cream, and she says she’s very happy with the results. But what she really appreciates is that it has stopped the splitting of the tips of her otherwise strong and healthy nails, caused by subtle vertical ridges, an unwelcome side effect of aging into her early 60s. So, while this isn’t an anti-aging product per se, it packs a beneficial punch on its own, and supplemented with anti-aging serums, my mother has become a new convert. As I don’t yet have those kinds of aging concerns (though maybe I should start taking more proactive precautions), I’m just thrilled that thanks to only 2-3 daily applications of this lightweight but very effective cream, I now have well-moisturized hands, and fingertips that are smooth, without the dreaded winter sandpaper feel.
