When you’ve hit rock bottom, the only direction to go is up.
Getting hit by a truck didn’t Isekai Arthur ward, but he did wake up in a world forever changed.
When Earth evolves, passing a threshold few even knew existed, humanity is whisked away by the Grand System to engage in an educational Tutorial to bring them up to speed, the introduction of the new energy source that has been made available: Ether.
Arthur Ward is left behind, bleeding out on the sidewalk.
The world has evolved; upgraded, and mankind must change with it in order to survive. Animals have become deadly monsters that prowl the streets, dimensional incursions are a constant threat and Arthur is forced to adapt or die.
With new rules to live by and a path to redemption before him, Arthur now has a way to right his wrongs. At least he thinks so. After all, nothing is quite impossible when you can rewrite reality itself.
The path to power, however, is a slippery slope. Achieving his goals will test Arthur in ways he’d never expected.
This is the first book in a LitRPG Fantasy series with 800,000 views on Royalroad. Perfect for fans of Defiance of the Fall, The Primal Hunter, and Road to Mastery!
Credits to my brother for the beautiful front cover, made with one of his Mandela artworks. It’s not the usual kind found in this genre, but I loved it.

Karan Ahuja –
Very good book. Better than the predictable LITRPG nonsense being peddled as readable material. Keep up the good work and looking forward to the rest of the series.
[...]Michael Jackson –
A great read a zero to hero and a different take on the normal way of system integration, I enjoyed it and now need to head on to getting book 2 of this series to find out what happened next.
[...]Lukas –
Love it! Great story, unique combination of advantages for the MC, well designed system, fun characters and soooo much potential for the next books :D I can see this becoming one of my favourite litRPGs!
[...]Marcio Guerra Serra –
Interessante ideia sobre integração com o sistema e personagem interessante e variados plots e tramas rolando pelos bastidores do livro
[...]Rinalda –
I’ve been wanting a story where the MC gets left behind while everybody else gets taken to a tutorial so I was surprised and interested when I saw this book. I stayed up way to late reading this! I thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to the next one.

Promising series!
[...]Overall I really enjoy this series.Negatives are a little too much introspection, a tad bit too much over explaining the math behind MC choices and too many times “everything went dark” (mc overextending themselves, passing out etc)Other than that it definitely sets itself apart from other litrpg series. Already finished book 2 and looking forward to the following books to come!

Great book
[...]Stellar work from Em Es. Lots of action and adventure, magic and monsters. Looking forward to reading the next one.
John –
A very enjoyable read
[...]Great read, solid chars and a good storyline that didn’t make me speed read through half the book. I enjoyed the slow steady burn of him trying to maintain his secrets.
Paul Alcantara –
really enjoyable
[...]Fun Mc with an interesting expanding world and a unique predicament they find themselves in. I found myself excited to see just what the Mc would do next!
Haley Alex –
Excellent New Story
[...]Great addition to the Litrpg genre. Really enjoyed the characters, the world building, and realistic choices each character made. Excited to read more
Bonnie Moonchild –
novel ideas
[...]Takes a different look at an RPG world. Seems to be a setup for a multi book series. Tends toward introspection which makes the story drag .

fun read
[...]Fun. Looking forward to seeing more of the MCs progress. Enough intrigue to keep it interesting. Good character development of the MC, but for someone going into med school, he had a little deficiency in his critical thinking skills. It’s okay, I do prefer smart and clever characters, but sometimes less brilliant ones are good too. The plot is also good enough to make up for it. Def reading the next in series.

Fun read
[...]Fun start to an interesting world. Simple and effective mechanics. Practical and rational plot. Fun characters. Fight scenes are too overbearing or excessive. Good start.
