[...]Plot continued with some turns and twists i wasnt expecting but wholeheartedly found good. (i dont spoil, besides the rarest occasion, so no info her ;))but i will say. the very end had something i’ve been waiting on for this entire series.That is all the hint you get. go read it.see you all in August when book 9 drops, i will be waiting with bated breath and a day off planned.

Fallen World is an excellent series
[...]This series is one that I can heartily recommend. The writing is wonderfully creative, the characters feel fleshed out, the world feels like it has mysteries deeply buried that aren’t just put there to be plot devices. Alex and her team aren’t going to solve everything about the world, they’re reacting to the situation they find themselves in, like people rather than heroes in a story.Book 8 continues this trend, consequences for actions come tumbling down the line and machinations that have been years in the making outside of the sight of both reader and characters have come to light. As readers we’ve not been wholly unaware of these, they aren’t the author making things up, as they have been hinted at in some capacity with chapters outside of the primary cast, but they are surprising in a good way. I’d recommend this book to anyone who enjoys character focused sci-fi stories, as that’s where our dear author truly shines.
