SUPER compelling reading, I couldn’t put it down – literally.It is full of mystery, intrigue and heaps of danger and nail-biting suspense.I love the character of Kyra and was gobsmacked at the introduction of ‘Fenella’… I am bursting to read more about both of these characters and can’t wait to see what develops…. Especially with Max.I can also hardly wait to see what happens with the captured cruel and arrogant enemy.And it was really great to see Drova on another mission. I love seeing her in action with her incredible power and I’m very interested to see what the outcome of ‘what happened’ on that mission is for her moving forward.Once again the author has blown me away with new left field ‘Wow Factor’ developments.Highly recommended!

This is the 92nd book of this series (yes, I’ve read them all). It was a very good book and I was intrigued throughout. Can’t wait for the next one to see what happens next. Not standalone stories though so if you want to read them start at the beginning – it’s worth it.

Kyra’s story
[...]This was one wild ride for Kyra’s first book. There were some side stories along the way but the main story was fast paced and there was quite a bit of action in the second half of the book. The ending let me just say it was just WOW and I did not see that one coming.One of the things I like about Isabel’s books is the fact that she makes references to some major happenings going on at the time of writing these books. It makes it feel more like this is actually happening in our reality and time. Really enjoyed this one and can’t wait to see what happens next.

[...]I.T did it again! Another great beginning to the next trilogy. Her continuing stories of these characters and the introduction of new ones is a wonderful world of people and happenings. This latest one brings not just one woman who fought for freedom but two. Exciting, loving, magical and heartfelt are just some of the ways these stories get you and this one to me so far is one of the best. I can not wait for the next one to come out. I inhale them then read them a second time before the next come out. If you haven’t read any in the series get the first one and you will be hooked. Happy reading.

Never want this series to end
[...]This was yet another great addition to our long series The Children of the Gods. I read meany books a year, about 500 and have never come across a series that can hold my attention for 7 books let alone 93. I sincerely hope we are years away from the end of this ever evolving story.Yet my only negative critique is I absolutely hate how the end 50 pages before the end of the book. I’ve never encountered an author so stubborn, who insist on listing each and every 92 books at the beginning of the book, and the same with a summary at the end. Please consider turning these end summaries into an index or something. I end up being so disappointed at the end when I expect at least 20 more pages but it suddenly ends.Also, your Beta readers are simply fantastic!

[...]LOVED IT. Doomer action again, we get to see the Clan and Ka-rell in action, and they capture a high-ranking Doomer. Of course they get Jasmine’s mom back, as well as another surprise prisoner. This one had a lot of tense moments, but it moved quickly and opened several new story lines.
