Fascinating!
We really enjoyed this fact book. Chickens are really interesting and it was fun to learn all about them. We learned a lot! From wattles to gizzards, from dust baths to coop life. The chapters are short and neatly divided into groups with extra facts at the end of each section. The pictures are well done, bright and crisp. The tone is conversational and easy to read. It’s clearly very well researched. It’s definitely worth a read. It made us wish we had space to keep chickens in our yard!While the book is for kid, I think parents will get a lot out of this, which makes it fun to read together. The coloring pages at the end are a nice touch.

This is a cute book full of facts about chickens. Who knew? I tried this book to answer some questions for my little one. Rather than looking online, I figured a book would bring more satisfaction. It did. Nice illustrations, and the bonus facts even taught me stuff.The last few pages can be printed for some coloring fun.It’s not world-changing literature, but it’s still fun for children.
