   This first instalment in the world of Tilton was perfectly sweet, low angst with all the feels.Chase is the sweetheart golden retriever, who sets his sights on the baggy hoodie wearing LotR fanfic writing enigma – who he once sat on.It was a great read, with all the feels you’d expect in young first love. I loved his constant reassurance and also, his continued need for consent – it’s refreshing. I love HHs style of writing and I am safe to immerse myself in the world in which she’s created – in any of her books/series – i can picture it all, the posters on the wall, the smell of dirty smelly wet socks – because of the descriptive writing. Another amazing book by HH. Can not wait for the next TU book in the series and the future Terrors book coming soon. 🙌

   I loved this book and I can only recommend it!!I’m a huge fan of Helena hunting, I love her writing and her stories (+ I love hockey which is pretty important haha).This book is a standalone that takes place in the same universe as the Toronto terror. And it’s the story between Cammie (Essie’s little sister) and Chase.Tropes:💗 only one bed💗opposites attract💗accidental roommates💗virgin heroine💗 secret crush💗he’s OBSESSED WITH HER💗LOTR fanfic queenI love seeing the relationship between Cammie and chase grow and I loved that we get to see new mmc outside of the Toronto terror’s members.I hope the next book in this series will be about Brody !(++ I loves the scenes with the LOTR fanfic, it was kinda unexpected and really funny 😄 )Anyway read this book, you’ll love it !!

   I’m a bit obsessed with this book! I’m pretty obsessed with all of Helena Hunting’s books but this one heals a part of me. I’m a nerdy girl and it reminds me of my own time of finding my place and my people in university. This story is a beautiful example of first loves and the awkwardness of finding who you are as a young adult.I love how everyone is interconnected and we are getting to see more stories. I really hope this is the start of a new series where we get to see Tally’s story because I’ve been dying for that and all the siblings stories.Chase is only a freshman but already Mr. Popular and a hockey god. It’s not just everyone in residence who knows who he is, he’s recognized everywhere he goes. None of this goes to who head though and he is a genuinely nice guy even though he is a bit clueless about things outside of his own personal experience. Thankfully he has some great friends to help guide him and educate him.Cammie is a nerdy, introverted but badass babe. She writes awesome LOTR fanfic, has a black belt, and is unapologetically herself. She has always felt stuck in her older sister’s shadow but is trying to find her place as someone other than just “Essie’s sister” now that she is on her own in university. She has a huge crush on chase but he doesn’t know she exists even though he lives only 3 doors down from her.Chase sees her one day in class and finds her beautiful but he can’t seem to find her anywhere. Cue a fire in the dorm causing them all to be put up in a hotel and an error placing Chase and Cammie as roommates and he’s finally found his mystery girl.    Chase Lovett is the ultra-popular hockey star on campus, and Cammie is the nerdy, awkward girl who secretly writes Lord of the Rings fanfic and has been crushing on him forever. When a dorm evacuation forces students into a nearby hotel, a mix-up lands them as accidental roommates for the night (Cameron being mistaken for a boy’s name 😆). From that moment on, it’s game on, and Cammie decides to let go of her inhibitions for one night with the guy of her dreams.💖 What I Loved:-Chase’s Soft Side – Despite his superstar status, Chase felt like a real, down-to-earth college guy when he was around Cammie. His moments of vulnerability and self-awareness made him even more swoon-worthy.-The Chemistry – Once these two got together, they were on fire. Their attraction was undeniable, and I loved how they took an interest in each other’s passions.-Cammie’s Fanfic Obsession – Her nerdy quirks made her character so relatable.-Chase’s Communication – He genuinely wanted to understand Cammie and improve their relationship, which I appreciated.⌛ What Fell Short:- Insta-Lust – I’m not the biggest fan of love stories that go from 0 to 60 immediately, but in a college setting, it kind of worked.-The “Precious” Moments – The Lord of the Rings smut? Umm… yeah, it was awkward. Using “precious” in that context made me cringe. 😬-Chase’s Sudden Interest – Cammie’s crush on him made sense since it had been building for a while, but Chase going from not knowing who she was to super into her so quickly felt a bit rushed.If you’re looking for a fun, spicy, and super quick sports romance, this is one to check out. Just be prepared for lots of steam and some awkward but entertaining fanfic moments.

   Quirky and quick college hockey romance
   5 ⭐️ 3.5 🌶️ 10/10 Recommend!This was such a cute and quick read. I was giggling and swooning for majority of the book. The premise is about Cammie being a quiet, nerdy, shy girl who is used to feeling invisible to the world. She has a mega crush on Chase who is also a freshman like she is and they share a few classes and live on the same dorm floor. It isn’t until one doem fire and a gender neutral name that lands them in the same hotel room by accident. And things get spicy throughout this day and a half hotel stay all because of fanfic 👀. Suddenly, Chase is looking to prove to Cammie that he genuinely likes her and wants to date her. Brody is such a great best friend to Chase and I love how despite all of the guys being single, they all had such great advice for Chase. Gosh, Chase was so oblivious to a lot of things and was too nice when it came to letting certain things slide. I’m grateful that he had friends who could point it out to him when he clearly couldn’t see things from Cammie’s POV and how she may be feeling when she steps out of her comfort zone for him. Boy was there so much for these two to navigate but they got through every rough patch. And Chase loved helping Cammie with any new steamy fanfic scenes she was writing. You know for “research purposes” lol.Barbie and Anabelle were the absolute worst bullies🙄 and they’re creepy 😩. But I absolutely loved this book and loved the fact that its intertwined with the Toronto Terrors series 🥹.

   Sweet and spicy
   I stumbled across this story via Facebook and so happy that I did. It was a quick read for me but those are my favorites sometimes. The banter between the two main characters was perfect and kept me entertained. As a little weirdo myself in love with HP, I can totally relate to Cammie. So glad she got what she has been fantasizing about! Now I’m off to read all the other stories! ☺️

   Chase and Cammie are EVERYTHING!
   Audio Review:Attention! Attention! We get a duet narration with this audiobook! Okay, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, we’ll get to the story and then I’ll rave about the narration. 😂At this point if Helena writes it, I’m going to read it, and this book is a prime example of why. I just loved these characters so much. Cammie is a total introvert and I love that about her, because while I can handle being in public, I definitely prefer to be alone or with a small number of people, so I love reading about characters who are similar. Now Chase is the opposite, he thrives on being around people, and I love that they balance each other out. And the fact that Chase is OBSESSED with Cammie, is everything that I could want. Not to mention, so many of their interactions had me cracking up. This book is fast paced, hilarious, and spicy. I don’t know what more you could ask for.As for the narration…it was PHENOMENAL! I’m so excited that we got a duet narration for this book and the narrators were just amazing. CJ Bloom did such a great job bringing Cammie to life and I just adored Jason Clarke as Chase. I swear no other narrators would have been able to do this book the justice that these two did and I was here for every single second of it.I can’t wait to get more books in this series and to hopefully see Chase and Cammie make a cameo or two in the Toronto Terror series. 👀🤞🏻
