[...]Love the outside. Had a bit of a problem getting it turn to portrait because it’s very tight and I have arthritic hands but I finally got it to move. As far as fitting my Fire 7, it’s a little snug but I did manage to get the tablet in and it’s not falling out, so snug is good, right? Love the auto open, love the purple with stars, love the whole thing once I got the turning figured out.Edit: After using it for a day, I feel the need to add a tiny criticism. It’s a bit on the lightweight side for holding the “portrait” aspect in place. Perhaps if the “grooves” that do the actual holding were deeper or it was made of thicker material. It might be better if used on a table but I place it on my leg while reading and it falls backwards unless I place it just right and don’t move unless I hold onto to it and get it balanced again after I’ve had to move my leg.My last cover was thicker and had deeper grooves so I didn’t have it fall over nearly as often. But it was also heavier and a boring black. I like the lightness of this one for holding so I’m not taking any stars away but I can wish it wouldn’t fall backwards as easily as it does.

[...]I really love the kitty and the books cover. The cover I had before stood on its own. It was very sturdy and I could hold in my hand. This one was sturdy, but I knew probably within a couple of months it would start to fail me. Also the two tabs that are supposed to support it standing up or not thick enough causes the Amazon fire to constantly slip. It had to be on an absolutely flat sturdy surface in order to work correctly. I just had back surgery and I need something that will stay up and not have to worry about it falling down while I’m reading it.
