when I bought my Oasis, I had also bought the amazon standard case. I bring it to work every day and I would say I am your avg user (not too rough with it, but also not really taken care of the case.) In a spent of 2 months, the edge of the amazon standard case started to peel and after two to three waist height drop, there is a mico crack developed on one of the corners of the case. So I decided to buy this case. It has since been about 5 months, it stays up to the normal beating that the previous amazon case has sustain but had not developed the same issue.The only thing it happens to the case is the corners of the case has faded a little bit due to me pulling in and out of the lunch bag daily.

[...]So this is a very nice case I have to say I absolutely love the design and it stays closed with the magnetic closure. Frankly it’s really a pleasing case. The only thing I would warn people about is to be careful when they hang onto the case as it is very slippery. The material is super easy to slide out of your hands…nothing to provide a grip. I wouldn’t suggest laying it down on any surface that is not flat and stable because it will slide off of things. But, aside from that, I am pleased with it. I haven’t had any issues as of yet, and I’m hoping not to have any, so I would say go ahead and give it a go and grab one of these if it seems to your liking!

[...]I don’t want to this to come across as knocking the product, I’m not. But, in this case, you can tell you’re only getting what you pay for. It feels cheap and a bit flimsy, you can just tell it isn’t of the highest quality. I think it’ll guard the Scribe just fine, so I’m not too worried about it. If you’re expecting it to be as good as the official case at this price, well, it’s not. It is good for the price, however.
