St. Valentine’s University holds a dark secret…
Vivian Valentine:
Chasing the truth has always been Vivian’s passion, and when she’s offered a coveted spot at St. Valentine’s University’s elite journalism program, she doesn’t hesitate. But this school is more than just a stepping stone to her dream—it’s in her blood. Its history is stitched together within the bones of fourteen women, sacrificed to the men who built it. A legend… or so she thought. Until a seemingly innocent Valentine’s Day charity auction places her in the hands of her past and future—The occults leader.
Maddox Valentine:
As the King of the Divine, Maddox is bound to a legacy of sin and sacrifice. Every year, the descendants of St. Valentine’s founders offer up a soul to appease the hunger of those who came before them. This year, fate delivers him something far more tempting than he ever expected—a virgin of his own powerful bloodline; A Valentine. Her purity begs for his corruption. She would be the perfect offering. Luring her in should be easy. She’s soft, curious… and completely unaware of the danger she’s stepped into. But the more he watches her, the more he wants to unravel her in ways that have nothing to do with preparing her for the ritual.
Will Vivian become just another chapter in St. Valentine’s dark history, or will her creative narrative be enough to seduce the King into breaking his own rules?

Reka Bisztray –
I initially found this book hard to get into. The plot was predictable and i found myself putting it down and bringing it back up several times to read it. HOWEVER —->Once i got to about 60% of it, i could not put it down. Whilst the ending is one i kind of seen coming, the actual words and description unraveling it was something i really enjoyed reading. OVERALL i think its a 3.75/4 out of 5 but thats only because my own preferences in storytelling so if you’re looking for a fun and short dark valentine story then read this! Be warned tho, it’s trigger heavy and grusome!

I don’t know how I was expecting this to end, but I am a little surprised by how it did. Vivian is a bad@ss and poor Maddox is so damaged and brain washed. A cult-y, short and spicy valentines read. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series as they are released!

Darrkkk romance
[...]If you’re looking for a sweet romance with a HEA, this is not for you.Dark romance, check your TW.The pinecone 😲The HEA lover in me was hoping for some kind of twist where it would all work out, but with the way this book was set it wouldn’t have been able to happen. Includes: cults, murd3r/t0rture, and is taboo- teacher/student but also distantly related (4th cousins)

The past this itself
[...]This was dark and most definitely depraved. I came in blind only knowing it was dark. I absolutely enjoyed it. The school is definitely run by a cult. For years things have always been the same. However, this year will be different. Vivian and Maddox have some very intense chemistry. She may be the sweet girl with the v-card but it didn’t stand a chance against Maddox. They are so hot together. Vivian Valentine refuses to take what is deemed as her fate. She will discover the secrets and make a different choice because we get to make our choices. If you want to be chased through a maze by your professor you better grab this book.

Dark and oh so good
[...]Check your triggers cause this book has plenty but holy smokes was it good. If you love hot deranged men, innocent but fiesty fmcs, cults, auctions, and chases through woods, then this book is for you. Sk does it again, where she pulls you in right away. She will make you laugh, scream cry and question everything but you know it’s a good book then. 10/10Ps. That pinecone scene though
