We’re heading to Mexico and I wanted to have some color. Especially for my 67 years young legs which were looking a little crepey after losing weight. This lotion made such a difference in just one application. Nice warm color.But – most importantly it scores good on the Yuka App that rates how healthy or bad products are for you. My cheap self Tanner scored 6 out of 100. This stuff is 93 out of 100 for harmful additives.

This is by far the BEST self tanning lotion I’ve ever used. No awful smell and it works very very well and gives a very natural golden tan, even after one or two applications!

So I just finished my first tube of this stuff. Definitely the best I’ve used in a long time.The good:- Solid colour- Long as applied properly, very little streaking. Back of hands are pretty difficult though. Doesn’t matter how little I put, I always get some buildup.The bad:- Although colour is good, it doesn’t last long. I’d say a max of two days before it’s more or less noticeably faded. Starts to fade in as little as one shower.- You have to use a lot. As I’ve seen in other reviews, you do need a lot of the stuff per application.- Price. The price is pretty steep. Looking at my orders, it took me three weeks to go through this and I wasn’t even using it on my legs. You can go through really quick. At $45 per order, this could easily cost you $600+ a year.I could see myself ordering again, but probably not on a regular basis due to price/speed you go through it.Edit: I was contacted by their customer support and given a refund. Great customer service. I bumped up my review from 3 to 4 stars. They did not ask me to do this, I just appreciate the generous refund!

Not the greatest
[...]It looks kind of orange after putting on. Goes on thick, but let it dry into the skin and its ok, don’t keep rubbing it. My legs were the ones that looked the best, and I did it for an evening out, so I looked like tan legs, not too orange. However, after a couple days, my forearms, the insides of my arms looked like crackled skin. Its only been on a few days and this is what happens. I’ll have to see if I continue to put it on every other day if this will happen or not. Stains the hands pretty quickly, so wear gloves during application. I read that it looks better if you reapply daily or every other day for coloring, which I did find to be true the first couple days. But 2 days later after not applying is when the crackling and separation began. This was my first time trying, so I’ll give it a little more time and see if I only do one application on the arms if there is still crackling or not. I have my hopes up as I did like the look of my legs. I’ll have to come back with a photo of them. The attached photos are my forearms.

Looks realistic and doesn’t rub off
[...]This is the first self tanner that I actually like. And I started using them 60 years ago, when they were orange and streaky and smelled terrible. Not much had changed for about 50 years, but this goes on smoothly, smells great, and lasts several days! I tested it before my vacation and only needed about a dime sized blob for one whole leg, since a quarter-sized amount made my leg look artificially too dark.

One use and I’m impressed
[...]I don’t usually bother to write reviews because it is rare that I am blown away by a product, but this one deserves it. Let’s start with the fact that the ingredients are clean and you’ve already scored points in my book. Then I applied last night after a shower with gentle exfoliation as directed, waited the full drying time and hopped in bed. Woke up this morning to a flawless, natural looking tan. There is no streaking at all. No weird looking areas on my hands, knees, or elbows. Other sunless tanners I’ve used can take multiple applications and still don’t look this tan. One application with this honestly looks better than when I got an airbrushed spray tan. Sure the price is a little more than your average sunless tanner but I’m here to say, you will not be disappointed by this product if you’re looking for a quick, easy summer glow without damaging rays OR harsh chemicals. LOVE IT!!!!

Good tan but…
[...]I was pleased with the tan it gave me but I put tanner on several days ago and last night, I used a sleep patch. When I pulled the patch off, it took the tan off, too. I’ve reapplied in this area and I hope it will cover it. If not, I’ll return it.

[...]I have tried countless sunless tanning products and this one by far is my favorite. It doesn’t have a funky smell and I’ve not had issues with it coming off on clothing either. It gives you a nice natural looking color and stays well. The only thing I will note is that you will definitely want to use a brush or glove to rub it in as it takes a minute to get it completely rubbed in. I would definitely recommend this product!!!

It Works!
[...]So, I’ve never used a self-tanner, so I can’t really make comparisons. However, I asked my long-time skin care aesthetician who recommended this product for my up-coming vaca in Jamaica. She had tried many self-tanners and she liked this one best because apparently it doesn’t have as much odor as many do. It does have a slight scent, and I’m very anti-scent everything, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me. I followed directions and it works. I was worried about it staining clothes or sheets but so far I do not see any evidence of that. I waited 15 minutes after applying, as instructed, before putting on my old black cotton pjs. I’m happy to be able to arrive in Jamaica with a little color on my arms and legs.

[...]I am so excited, this is amazing! I tried the mousse and was not a fan of the color, read another review about the lotion so decided to try that. It said to wait 15 minutes for dry time and that was perfect, the mousse was sticky for hours but the lotion set in so well. I put it on a few hours before bed even, I sleep with white sheets and didn’t have any transfer!The only con is the smell. But that is alllll self tanners, they just have a horrid scent. Small price to pay for a non toxic switch. So glad I found this.I can’t speak for the longevity as I just put it on last night, but the color turned out SO good that I was excited to write a review. Even if it only lasts a few days, it’s so easy to apply and color shows up quick, it won’t matter.
