My bride thinks I hate her. She couldn’t be more wrong…
I’m engaged to the man the rest of the world fears and there’s no going back.

He wants the world to believe our love is real and not bargained, but he says even that’s not enough.
He wants me to convince him.
What was supposed to be a simple arrangement spirals into something more, and before I know it, I’m caught in his web, secrets spinning all around me.
I hate him as much as I crave him, but as enemies close in from the most unlikely of places, I realize something.
I’m not pretending to love him anymore.
I love him for real.

This was a great story. The writing allowed me to feel Boston’s pain of always being the unwanted one behind her twin sister. I loved that she was gritty and bold and didn’t back down. Enzo proved himself to be the ultimate obsessed, possessive, OTT guy. There were twists and turns in the storyline, and the pace kept me reading, keen to find out what happened.I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good dual style audio. The audio finished early, missing out the last two chapters. I’ll be sending an email to the author to let them know.

A good, entertaining read but was definitely not a true standalone like it’s advertised as being. In my opinion, it connected to too many established storylines from the author’s other books for it to be anything other than part of a series. A series that features different main couples, yes, but the shared plot lines and assumed knowledge of previous books made this story difficult to stand on its own. Sure, readers could get by, but they’d also be missing out on the entire experience when the author makes assumptions like this one unfortunately did.Technically, this book is part of not only a shared universe spanning multiple series, but is also directly part of a series of other standalones—though since it’s not advertised as such on Amazon it took a separate search to find out—but regardless, I think the author missed the mark when it came to providing her readers with everything they’d need to know to make this book work. Not only are new readers expected to know all the side characters, what role they played within the shared world, and the nuances of their individual stories, in some cases the plot lines the author used were direct continuations to other books’.It felt less like starting a new story and more like jumping into an existing one that already had an ongoing plot I’d somehow missed; going so far as to have the MCs relationship not only established but also tested in the first few pages. It was so jarring it had me double checking more than once that I hadn’t accidentally picked up a book mid-series.It’s a shame since I really did enjoy this book—after I caught up to the established storylines the author assumed I knew. The relationship was full of frustratingly angsty goodness and had a great balance of longing to spice. The plot was engaging and fast-paced with rich settings and complex characters. It had a handful of plot holes/unfinished avenues the author didn’t pursue that don’t exactly matter in the grand scheme of things but are left hanging anyway. And despite the major story edits I think this book needed, there were very little actual errors within it.All that combined left a book that was entertaining in spite of what I think are major flaws. Once the giant hurdle of assumed knowledge was tackled, I was hooked.

Amazing. The right amount of romance and suspense and the special guests. WOW. Would 100% recommend if you loved boys of Bradshaw like I did.

Seeking to set her own path her own destiny Boston seeks out a dangerous man Enzo Fikile, to arrange a marriage contract. Easily succeeding despite the fact that it’s known he has a hit on her father, to take his Empire. Despite that once moving in together Enzo disappears and she’s locked away in a gilded cage, so she runs. Now she’s been returned to her gilded cage where she is to become Mrs Fikile. Enzo claims all he wants is Boston. All he sees is Boston. He so eagerly agreed to this marriage, but yet appears to be having affairs, has a secret ex-wife he keeps in his home. But everything’s not as it seems. There are so many secrets in the world of Mafia leaders. This book was so incredibly delicious. It continues the story after Tempting Little Thief and also brings in characters from the Brayshaw world. Boston is so strong, laid back yet completely unhinged. And Enzo is obsessed, possessive and very morally grey. Making for an addictive need to have read!

Boston & Enzo are *chef’s kiss*!
[...]love Megan Brandy’s books, and this one DID NOT disappoint! This is one of my favorite mafia-esque books I have read because it gives us mafia but also banter and LOL moments.Boston is a young woman just trying to make a place for herself in the world since her twin sister is the one who will be in charge of running the family empire. And Boston’s way to make a place for herself, is to marry her father’s enemy, Enzo Fikile.Enzo Fikile is a man who has come from rags to riches and has been through a lot in his life. And when Boston asks him to sign a contract to marry her, he accepts very quickly. Enzo knows what he wants and does not hesitate to take it.There is a lot of confusion between Enzo & Boston in the beginning because they don’t know each other well, and because Boston’s father does not want them to be married. But Enzo makes sure that Boston will not ever leave his side again. There is so much banter, and definitely some spice through this whole book. I absolutely love Boston & Enzo’s story and cannot wait to go back and read Bastian & Rocklin’s story and read Damiano & Katana’s story when it is released.

BOOK HUSBAND
[...]Enzo is the end all be all of book husbands! I absolutely love him! The neck tattoo! yaasss!!I loved Boston’s growth. Watching her become the strong and confident; and a little unhinged, woman she is. Beautiful! Enzo helped nurture that but in the end, it was all her.I loved the banter. The side characters are amazing. I loved them as much as our main characters. Meagan Brandy nails another amazing book!I loved seeing some of my favorite characters from previous books! The cross over was perfection!Go dive into Enzo and Bostons story! You won’t be disappointed!

Solid 3.5 stars…
[...]This book made me angry for at least the first 3rd of it. I wanted to kill Enzo, but he redeemed himself later on. As for Boston, she was one tough badass chick. I would have preferred if he understood her pain better. That their connection had been deeper. You had a really good sense of its depth, but honestly, it could have been shared more between the characters. What made this a 3.5 star book was the writing. There were moments you had to reread the chapter in order to figure out who was talking. What was going on. There were scenes that made no sense. The writing could have been better, but the characters were still amazing. I won’t read any more of her books, but this was still pretty decent.

Boston and Enzo
[...]This is the second book in the “Girls of Greyson” series. This book is Boston Revenaw and Enzo Fikile’s story. We first meet Boston in her twin sister’s book Tempting little thief the first in the Girls of Greyson series. This book was so good, as if I expected anything less from this talented author. Boston and Enzo were absolutely perfect for each other. I fell in love with them and the way they were enemies to lovers but never really were. The slow burn was so satisfying because when she finally let the walls down and we got to those scenes.. let’s just say the spice was spicing!!! Enzo was the perfect “touch her and die” book boyfriend. He showed her so much love and affection in his own way. I loved that he showed her that she was good enough and brought that side out in her. They were the ultimate power couple. I loved those moments where you could see the love between them even when she tried to deny it! This book gave a great insight to the next couple mashups for this series and I seriously cannot wait! Absolutely recommend this book/ series.

Contract Marriage
[...]Bad Little Bride is a great story with characters you will love or hate. But by the end of the story, love will be what you are leaning towards.Enzo and Boston have some animosity towards each other, and I loved the back and forth with them. The banter made this story a little lighter. These two are great together and can be a powerhouse together. But it isn’t easy for Enzo to get Boston to love him.Kathryn Lynhurst isn’t a narrator that I usually listen to, and I need to change that. She has a very pleasant voice that can hit those moments when it needs to be higher or more serious. She did a great job with Boston.Alex Kydd is a favorite of mine. I always enjoy that he makes the sounds or laughs when he reads the parts. He doesn’t just read the words. He is actually there in the story. I love it!The cameos you get in this story made me so happy, and I love it.I am excited about what comes next!

So hard to put down
[...]A rather gripping YA (ish)/Adult Contemporary, dark romance novel. Underworld, dark side of life, elite training, wickedly capable young women, and dangerous men. It is a slightly complicated web of power dynamics.Enzo is … he’s just… it. Boston is finding her place in this world. And she is smart enough to realize that Enzo is her only way, out or thru the world she comes from. She finds him, makes him a direct offer, and he’s ‘in’.So much intrigue. So little trust, because lives depends on not making a bad decision. I found the writing compelling. But it was also a different tone/voice than I am familiar with reading-wise, so there were a lot of ‘let’s stop and reread that, maybe 4+ times, until we’re clear as to what’s going on’. It’s quick. Punchy, in its delivery. Meagan Brandy is new to me. Except for needing to grasp the meaning behind subtle gestures and words, at times, I had no problem with the story itself.Slowish burn, we do get into open door territory. (So, not for children.)I wouldn’t mind seeing this story, and yet I’m afraid it might lose some of its emotional oomph (and possibly go overboard with the darker elements) with live actors and voices.Yeah, I loved Bad Little Bride!
