ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC product, except…
[...]it did not fit my 7″ Garmin GPS. There aren’t any secure ways to mount a large Garmin, but this product came really close. Another 1/4″ lower in height and 1/2″ in width it would have worked… too bad, I really liked this mount.

Doesn’t fit rugged tablets without modification
[...]Well built metal cradle with plastic ball mounts and arm. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit rugged tablets like the Tab Active3 without modifications. Using the pads that come with the mount don’t give enough room for thicker tablets or tablets with a rugged case. I tried to use it with a Tab Active3, but it was too tight and would’ve ended up damaging the tablet from the top bracket pulling the case back and rubbing against the front of the tablet. It could have been modified to work without too much difficulty, but I have enough projects and ended up returning it. It also had trouble fitting without the brackets hitting buttons on the tablet. I would have considered buying this again for a different tablet, until I noticed that the price went up right after my return. It was a reasonable buy when under $70, but at around $100, I’ll pass (update as price did drop back down to $75 shortly after I posted the review), It would definitely be worth it if they upgraded the mounting balls and arm to aluminum AND add appropriate padding in appropriate places.Pros: – sturdy metal construction – functional lock – reasonably adjustable for height and widthCons: – not adjustable for thickness – plastic ball mounts and arm – price keeps going up – no padding anywhere except against the back of the tablet

It’ll work
[...]A bit on the heavy side, but I didn’t want a plastic tablet holder that could easily break. I replaced the ball mounts with RAM mounts and an aluminum RAM extension and it’s doing the job pretty well. It doesn’t jiggle around alot making tablet easy to read at a glanse while off roading. stock mounting ball and extension isn’t great, but most people aren’t using this on an adventure motorcycle.
