Color/Design is beautiful but….
This is the second case I’ve bought for my new Kindle Colorsoft. The first one didnt fit at all. It’s a very pretty case. Not a cheap looking print, and it does “look” like leather. However, I don’t think it is real leather. Had to really work my Kindle Colorsoft into it, if it was a hard case (like the other one) and not a flexible silicone I don’t think it would fit. The stylus works great. But, it doesn’t seem to have a magnet closure at all, so I don’t think it is actually activating sleep mode on the Kindle. New Kindle, new case, but on my old paperwhite when you opened the cover you would have to swipe up to wake the kindle. That’s not happening here. I do like the look of it though, and don’t really care about the elastic strap feature, so I’ll probably just use that to keep the cover solidly closed and screen protected when I’m not using the kindle or carrying in my purse, etc. Without the magnetic closure, I don’t think this was worth $30.
