[...]Bought this beauty blender since I saw so many good reviews. However it looks like it’s been taken out of the box before as there was no tape to secure the package. It was covered in some sort of lint and even a piece of a leaf. There’s no sign of makeup stains on it but it’s definitely been opened and tossed around. Hoping that this was just a one time thing since other people didn’t have this issue.

[...]I was super skeptical bc I love the OG beauty sponge. I had tried other so-called dupes before and hated them. *This* one has that same soft squishy texture as the OG. When you wet it, it expands and stays soft and bouncy like the OG. I’ll say that one difference I note that this one is sliiiightly softer when wet but that does not bother me. I wash mine after each use and do find I need to squeeze it/wring it out a bit more. Really glad I tried this bc at this price, it’s easy to justify buying more frequently and not risking germs/bacteria.

The product description claims that it doesn’t show make up stains on it, this is only true after you wash the sponge. The material is nice and it feels very well made. I like this A LOT more than the Beauty Blender, which I feel is cheaply made.I use less make up with this sponge than I do with brushes or other sponges and it blends the make up out evenly and beautifully to where it almost looks like your make up was air brushed on.You can use it dry, too, but I have not tried it. I prefer to use this sponge with my foundation, so it needs to be wet.Overall I feel this sponge is well made and I’m confident it will last a long time. It works beautifully with foundation and blends better than any brush/sponge I have ever used. I like the black color, because as stated in the description, there’s no stains after washing it. Plus, you can’t beat the price.Definitely recommend and will purchase again!
