Though I knew about importance of Vagus Nerve this book gave me more insight about it, as well as taught me practical ways to mindfulness, breathing, humming, exercise to increase vagal tone. But most important of all it was an easy to understand, accessible material even for those not familiar with VN.Vagus Nerve does all sorts of things on its path from the brain to the gut (and back). It’s connected to our mood regulation, cognitive fiction, learning. Learning about Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation (TVNS) was new to me and absolutely fascinating.
