   Seamless connection, no lag, stable
   Picked this up for our 2020 Jeep that only had wired Carplay, and it worked flawlessly. It was very easy to set up and connect to the phone, and now every time the car is started it automatically powers on and connects to the phone for Carplay. I have a similar Motorola one for my Android phone (wife is Apple), and this works at least as well as that, and is sometimes faster…and that cost about twice as much as this.The connection is stable and there is no lag for maps or Spotify. It automatically routes voice calls to the Jeep’s hand’s free system and it works flawlessly, passing it back to the phone if you you park and shut down before the call ends. It’s a seamless experience and we haven’t been disappointed. It’s a great price too. You really can’t go wrong. Been using it for months now with no issues.

   Great for single-user cars. Not optimal for shared cars.
   Used in a 2020 Acura RDX — had no issues connecting, was way simpler than units I’ve used in the past. My only issue is that this device doesn’t seem to support multiple phones. The included instructions are lackluster/very basic, albeit that speaks towards the functionality as mentioned below.In the past I’ve had devices that pop up a small menu allowing you to select through multiple devices, add a new one, remove a device, choose which to auto-connect to, and so forth, but this one doesn’t seem to support that.If you are a single person or an individual that doesn’t share their car, this item seems to be perfect. The setup is extremely easy for what it is — plug in, connect to it via bluetooth, and be done.This would be 5 stars if not for the lacking multi-phone usage, which again, in 2025, should be basic functionality (considering I’ve used 5 year old devices that DO have that functionality for a similar price).EDIT: To clarify — you can connect multiple phones using bluetooth, but once you turn on the vehicle, there is no screen to select which phone. I would think it’s automatically connected to the last phone used (if found). This can be an issue if you are a couple who both use a car, as if you both get in the car at the same time, as there is no way to consistently connect to the phone that you want. For example, my mother was using the car, and my phone had connected when I was in the house. This isn’t good for multiple reasons including privacy as well as convenience — next time it happens, I’ll tell her to try to reconnect via bluetooth, but again, this sort of thing wasn’t an issue with many carplay units I’ve used in the past, so if seamless multi-party usage is what you want, I’d say look elsewhere.OTHERWISE: no other issues.

   This 2025 upgraded Wireless CarPlay Adapter is a fantastic solution for converting wired CarPlay to wireless effortlessly. Setup is quick, just plug it into the USB port of the car follow the instructions provided in the manual to connect your phone for the first time and within seconds, it connects to your iPhone. The startup and connectivity is quick. When I start my car, this CarPlay device boots up fairly quickly and automatically connects to my phone. If I had to step out of the car while the car is running and upon coming back to the car my phone automatically connects to the CarPlay.The compact design ensures it doesn’t clutter the dashboard, and the connection remains stable with minimal lag. It works smoothly with my 2019 Honda pilot, and iPhone making it a versatile upgrade.Pros:✅ Easy plug-and-play installation✅ Fast and stable connection✅ Compact and sleek designCons:❌ Four secs lag when playing songs (when a song is played you will hear the sound after approx. four secs. Same is when you switch to next track) this lag is consistent with the other CarPlay device that I have from a different company.Overall, it’s a must have for anyone tired of plugging in their phone every time they drive! 🚗💨

   Works perfectly, and with a smaller form-factor
   Let’s start with the important stuff:The device works flawlessly! Setup was easy and successful on the first attempt. Performance is excellent! There is no discernable difference from wired CarPlay. Connects very quickly every time I get in my vehicle. After setup, the experience of starting & using wireless CarPlay is no different than wired CarPlay, except the obvious…no wire to fuss with.The less important stuff:Packaging is higher quality (look & feel) than the majority of similar devices available on Amazon, providing better protection during shipping. The included instructions, though lacking a troubleshooting section or customer support information, are well written, clear and brief, telling you everything you need to know to get started. The contents of the box are the device and the instructions, with no other adapters (e.g., USB-A to USB-C) or dongles/extensions. This is the most compact (13x24x26 mm) of the several wireless CarPlay adapters I’ve tested, allowing me to place it out of the way and out of sight in a tight space/location. And being in such a location, it’s nice that the device has indicator lights on 2 sides, making it easy to see its status.If I had to offer 1 criticism, it would be that the instructions, though clearly indicate that your iPhone must be disconnected from any WiFi network, do not mention that if your phone is connected to a WiFi network when performing setup, probably will not connect immediately upon completing the setup instructions. You will need to go back into Bluetooth and select the device once more, then it will connect as expected. But this is observed only during initial setup.
