I was suprised how easily it shredded cubes of ice, I put 4 large cubes into my smoothy and within seconds it was slush. I buzzed it for maybe 3-4 seconds and the ice was gone, I thought maybe there were chunks hidden but when I checked with a spoon they were all gone. It’s much quieter than expected. I’ve made a dozen smoothies with it already and I love it so far. I ordered extra cups so I didn’t have to constantly be washing out cups, but they’re so easy to clean, I’ve only used the one cup. The cups do hold the smell of your previous drink after washing but it doesn’t affect the taste, I often full mine up with ice water after and it doesn’t change the taste of the water. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Great blender with 2 flaws
[...]I love this blender and use it daily for smoothies. But there are 2 significant problems. The bottom part with the blades that screws on to the cup broke really easily, and a big chip came out. (I bought a replacement blade unit made in China, but it leaks and makes a REALLY bad noise when it’s in use) Second problem is that the lids for the cups do not close securely. If the cup falls over in your bag, there is a 100% chance the contents will spill thru the faulty clasp at the top. I warned you!

Best Blender for smoothies!
[...]This thing has been the best blended I have ever used. I came from the version below this one which I used for just over a year almost everyday before it died. This one however makes the smoothie with ease. Old version took about a minute and a half or longer to blend one single smoothie with frozen fruit. This one, takes 17 seconds made the exact same way. It cleans easier as well. I absolutely love it. I just hope it lasts longer than the last one did.Would recommend for sure!

[...]Get more protein in your diet the doctor ordered. Well, not eating a lot, if any, red meat was hindering that from happening, so I decided to try protein smoothies. This Ninja blender was exactly what I needed to make a perfect smoothie in no time. I add one carton of Ensure Max Protein drink, a couple of scoops of chocolate peanut butter whey protein powder, some malted milk powder and two scoops of chocolate almond ice cream along with some ice. I set it on smoothie and in less than a minute I have an amazing drink that tastes just like a chocolate milkshake while adding a lot more protein to my daily intake. Adding a banana and/or some peanut butter is something I do often as well. I will admit that the blending process is quite loud but it’s over in less than a minute and everything else about this blender warrants 5 stars even with the noise.

Dishwasher safe. It comes with an extra bottle and sip lid. I wanted a smaller device (I have a Vitamix, but it’s bulky and I don’t like dealing with cleaning it). This blender is easy to use. It crushes ice. And the parts are dishwasher safe. So I can make a smoothie before working out and there is no hassle. Same smooth quality of my expensive Vitamix, but much easier to use and clean. This blender is a winner!!
