Corners cracked after 1 month
The corners all cracked within a month and then started breaking off in tiny pieces. The case also does not have the sleep/wake up functionality indicated in the product title. Cool design but I will be buying a different cover for my Kindle.

A bit annoying
Fits as expected but when using it, if the front cover touches the back of the Kindle when folded it will put your Kindle to sleep. Not helpful when using it to read to constantly unlock the tablet constantly because the flap touched

I actually bought two of these as we have two Kindle Fires in the House. I got one in the Red which is beautiful and one in Black so we don’t mix them up as far as “who is reading what” Highly recommended. Looks very very very high end and like beautiful leather.

perfect Case for My Kindle Fire
I hadn’t used my 8-Year Old Kindle Fire in several years when I dug it out of storage (I’ve been using the Kindle app on my tablet). The plastic on my old Fire case (purchased in 2016 for $34.99) was deteriorating badly and was in need of replacement. I was pleasantly surprised to see this case (as well as other comparable cases on Amazon) now sells for about one-third of what cases sold for in 2016. In any event, the case meets all my needs and is actually more solidly constructed than my former case.

Nice Case – However Sleep/Wake Function Does Not Work
This review is for the Amazon New Kindle Fire HD 8 HD8 Smart Cover (2016 Release,6th) (2017 Release, 7th) (2018 Release,8th) Ultra Slim Folio Stand Sleep/Wake Up Leather Case +1x Clear Screen Protector (Li-Brown). Overall, it is a lovely faux leather case. The inside front has a felt-like material to protect the screen. The lip for the stand (back of cover) holds up nicely. The case itself is quite sturdy and fits perfectly with my HD 8, 8th Generation Kindle.Unfortunately, the sleep/wake function does NOT work as described. It would have been a nice feature (if it was functioning properly) but not a necessary one. As stated before, I have the HD 8, 8th Generation, so my toggle on/off button is on the top right, making it easily accessible when I open/close the case. Another bypass option is that I set my Kindle to sleep after 2 minutes of inactivity.Note – a screen protector is also included in the package. But b/c my Kindle already has a screen protector, I did not use the one provided. Therefore, I cannot comment on this screen protector.
