[...]Works amazingly. I have used this to shred potatoes, makes potato chips, shred cheese and many other things. The product works as intended. The suction cup at the base is very sturdy and keeps it in place while working. If you use your hands to try and move it, it stays where it is. Now I haven’t used all my strength to try and move it, but it also isn’t meant for that. It’s an awesome product and works really well.

A Good Vegetable Grater/Slicer, Mostly
[...]Pros:Rotary graters like Zulay are faster and are easier to use than any other type of vegetable grater/slicer. They have no problem with soft vegetables like squash or cucumber. Hard vegetables like carrots require more effort but are worth the trouble given how fast this device works.The blade storage unit conveniently holds four pairs of blades, with the fifth pair kept on the blade holder.Cons:My grater came with a hopper that unlocks and slides on the base during use without the button being pressed. I contacted Zulay about this problem and they sent me a replacement hopper that had the same problem. Apparently the base has a track that is a bit too wide. Anyway, I’ll try using a thin strip of plastic within the base track to make it narrower. Perhaps that will work.The suction cup on the base needs to be round rather than square to minimize the chance of air leakage that eliminates suction.Carrots and beets create orange and red stains on the white plastic blade holders and blades. Chose any color plastic except white for the blade holder so the stains will not show.Observations:The thin and wavy slices come out slightly arched, not flat, because the rotary device cuts in a circle.For the suction cup to work properly, debris must be cleaned off the bottom of the soft rubber suction cup, and the smooth surface on which it is to be placed, every time before it is used.

Great Speed Shredder
[...]I bought this model after 2 days of doing research on many brands and models. I am glad that I did. I tried this for shredding mozzarella a soft cheese for pizza and it did the job really easy and fast and that was 2 8 oz blocks. I tried it for hash browns and again it did the work fast. The chute opening is large and does not clog. The only issue I see is that if you have old tile counter tops it will not suction so I put it on my stove and the base sucked down real easy and sturdy and did not move. No problem so if you have flat counter top it should work great. I like the fact it cleans up very easily and swapping out the blades is quick and simple. I like the blades case but I wish it had a lid and blade identification names but does not. They should label the blades as well but do not. I went to YouTube and watched a video and saw what each blade was as thecmanual pictures of the blades is black and white and not clear. In the end this is a 5 star item and no more stubbed fingers from my box grater. Buy it as you will not be dissapointed

[...]I had an issue with one of the blades breaking after one use, but I emailed customer service and they were able to replace with a new set of blades. They were very responsive and curteous. The product works great otherwise! The shredded cheese that we have tried from using this has been a game changer in flavor and texture! I don’t think I’ll be buying pre-shredded cheese ever again!

I do recommend as you grade that every so often you reverse cheese does build up with inside the greater and it can get stuck, but if you simply go backwards a couple turns all the cheese seems to fall out and it doesn’t plug. Maybe I’m too strong and pushing down too hard but product works perfectly and is easy to clean. we use Block cheese and we love the flavor and the health benefits instead of pre-shredded cheese.

Easy to clean
[...]So far I’ve only used it for grating cheese and let me tell you that grating cheese isn’t a chore anymore. There is no more worry about nicking my fingers and I find it fun now. It’s very sturdy the suction really keeps it in place when grating.easy clean up too. My only complaint would be taking the grates off to clean. I recommended to use a kitchen towel to cover for extra protection. With that being said I still give it 5 stars.

[...]I’ve had this grater for a little over 2 months and have used it, at least, a dozen times. I just finished using it again and thought I have to write a review! It is a pleasure to use, cleans up easily, and has 5 different blades to use. Recently I’ve been making scalloped potatoes. It uniformly cuts the potatoes, I rinse those blades and insert the grater blades and quickly grate the cheese. I just can’t emphasize enough how easy it is to use this thing. Grating on the box grater was always such a chore. I avoided doing it whenever possible. I never made scalloped potatoes because it was such a chore. Nothing I have, food processor, mandolin slicer, or knives work as easily and smoothly as this handy grater!
