Three glass bowls in useful sizes for a person who cooks and bakes often. I initially chose this set so I could get the right size glass bowl for melting chocolate but immediately found all three sizes of bowls useful for a busy weekend of cooking and baking. The large bowl fell out of the fridge when I opened it at one point (my fault) and it didn’t break! Very impressed with that. The bowls arrived tightly packaged and in perfect condition. Not a flaw anywhere. The price was prohibitive for some time and then when it went down (50%!) to $31 a few days ago, I bought them. The prior price was ridiculous but that’s the Amazon game. I also couldn’t find this set anywhere else in Canada to buy for months, who knows why. Now to wait for the lids to go down in price.

[...]Having multiple sized bowls is great. I washed fruit and filled the largest bowl and when half of it was eaten, I traded the bowl for a smaller one. Now the fruit bowl looks full again and the bowl, appropriate. This applies for your food too. Plus, the clear glass compliments any setting.

[...]I bought this set of Pyrex bowls for my wife a few months ago after one of her 40-yr. old Pyrex bowls broke. I wish I had replaced them a long time ago. They have a very slight but very attractive light blue hue glass color to them vs. the former purely clear that showed every scratch.

For the price, the bowls are clear glass yet durable as expected from Pyrex , perfect weight, stackable from large to smallest as space saver, variety of sizes for mixing pancakes, muffin batter to sweet potato pies is a plus. They didn’t come with lids but that’s not what I was looking for so not a deal breaker. I also love the lip on the bowls. Easy clean up too. I try not to put bowls like this in dishwasher but rather wash by hand to preserve them. Mixing is easy, fluid and not awkward by hand or mixer. If you’re in the market for mixing bowls, really consider this great buy. I love these. They make a great housewarming gift too.
