I was a bit doubtful about these pot scrubbers but so not wanting to use any more plastic sponges with inefficient green stuff on them I decided to give them a go and they are BRILLIANT .. the loofah side stays in tact for much longer than the green stuff on the mainstream version and scrubs well whilst the biodegradable cellulose white sponge somehow does not discolour as I thought it would. All in all these are a very efficient and much to be admired alternative

These cleaning sponges are great. The sisal part does not scratch, and is rough enough to clean, also the white sponge part wipes nicely and the whole thing fits my hand nicely. It is on the smaller side. The only drawback is that the sisal scrub part wears down pretty quickly, shedding layers, but it still is a very acceptable cleaning sponge.

[...]Very thin. I used one and took a photo of after it had been in scalding hot water. Still thin. But none the less it’ll be used to wash dishes. They work. Just not as absorbing and thick as other sponges. Still not a bad deal and these will work for doing my dishes and other cleaning tasks.

Decent Sponges, but Could Be More Durable

They work well for non-stick pans and don’t scratch delicate surfaces, which is a big plus. The sponges are also lightweight and easy to handle.However, I noticed they don’t hold up well for heavy-duty scrubbing. After a few uses on tougher stains, the scrubbing surface started to wear down, and the sponge itself began to fall apart. They’re great for light cleaning tasks but not as durable as I had hoped.Overall, they’re fine for the price and work well for general dishwashing, but I wouldn’t rely on them for tougher jobs.

[...]These are fine. Just fine. I have to say, I was surprised when I first received them, because they are smaller and thinner than the brand I typically purchase (I should have read the reviews). That said, they were also quite a bit less expensive. I can see how some people might actually like the smaller size (better at getting in and around small spaces like the inside of cups and mugs). However, I prefer the more typical sponge size. I do prefer this more natural scrub sponge material over those options that comes in blue or green and yellow (you know which ones I mean). Had no issues at all with scratching my non-stick pots and pans and the scrubbing power was just fine. Overall, it does the job and are a good budget option.

I Will Never Buy That Famous Brand Again
[...]I was skeptical. Some reviews were unfavorable. Don’t pay attention.Yes, they are smaller and not as thick. Yes, the packaging is weird. This is true. But the performance is where it is at. I have been using the first sponge for a little over two weeks and it can keep going. No smell. No stains. It hasn’t crumbled or separated like even that famous brand is known to do.Today I will retire this sponge and put out a new one. But I am not discarding the used sponge. I will repurpose it for pet accidents on the floor or other odd clean-ups. I plan on rotating this pack of sponges this way.As far a being thin, I like it. It gets into corners and harder to reach areas of my pots, pans, etc. It is actually better.Anyway, I never imagined that I would spend my Saturday morning writing a stellar review of a sponge. I swear I have an active life! lolJust buy them They are great sponges at a terrific price. 😀

Natural sponges with sisal fiber scrub pad: Better than the more expensive sythetic sponges.
[...]I personally like these sponges a great deal. Yes, they are thin (about half the thickness of the average sponge), however you do not notice any loss when you are washing your dishes. I have purchased many scrub/sponges in the past, expensive types and cheap types. The main difference between those being how long the scrub side lasts. The scrub side on these work great and do not degrade quickly, so you are able to use them for a much longer period of time. They also do not seem to retain bacteria as easily as any of the other sponges I have used. They do not get that “ick” smell (usually means it is full of bacteria) that all the other sponges I have used, tend to get. I am thrilled to have found a biodegradable sponge that cleans as good or better, and that lasts longer than the non-biodegradable sponges. This is now my go to sponge, and I will continue to purchase them. So if you care about the environment, and/or just want a decent sponge, albeit thin, try this one out.
