I was not expecting that! There were a few inconsistencies and sometimes the timing of events was off, but who cares, the story itself was so well written! The humour, the drama, the intrigue and suspense, that twist(!), great character development and the pacing of the story was so good. Highly recommend! Now off I go to add this authors back catalogue to my TBR!

[...]I love love loved this series! Omg it was so good from the very first book to the end of the second one! Usually I can quickly figure out how it will end but this has so many twists and turns and plot twists that I was surprised and love ever second of it! The spice and the romance was also top tier! I loved the energy between Samuil and Nova. I love how amazing the side characters were in this series! 5/5 highly recommended!

[...]Loved the way these books evolved and how all the characters stayed in both books.Only wish Nova would have been the one to bring the ex wife down in front of the evil brother in law ie love of the ex’s life. It would have made Sam proud ! LOL!

first book is great. this one is long and dragging
[...]FMC is so funny in the first book and started to get annoying as she keeps whining and whining about her not having freedom when she knows what kind of man shes dating in the very beginning. (Spoiler)))))……………. She’s pregnant and there’s a lot of enemies wanting her dead and her man is trying his best to keep all of them alive and she still whines. She connived with the second in command to make dangerous calls that put her in danger, her best friend in danger and a random civilian in danger and they managed to gaslight him that it was his fault. I mean his attitude needs some changing but it does not change the fact that a random IT will have to uproot his life and hide for the rest of his life because the dvmb FMC and the traitorous second in command can’t follow instructions and the FMC got bored and sad. And the next scenes is all bout how she was wronged. Poor IT and her bff totally forgotten., no remorse whatsoever.Book is so repetitive, this was a forced duet that could have been written in 1 book. First book was me waiting for the climax, second book was just a repeat of book only less funny. Then the climax is probably one of the most disappointing ones i have read Only reason this is getting a 3 is because the first book is so funny and entertaining and i actually thought i found a FMC that is chill and funny. Then she turned into an immature whiner.

[...]Good continuation of the first book. Excellent love story with some intimacy and spice to keep it moving and interesting. There are some deaths along the way as expected with a Bratva theme. Nova was very strong MFC and brought out the best of Samuil. Good work.

[...]I really enjoyed both books, although at times I thought it was repetitious with the back-and-forth, but I guess that’s part of the game. The characters developed beautifully and the plot evolved in a way that one couldn’t necessarily predict which made it more interesting. I will look for more books by this author.

[...]It’s been a minute since I read a one of Nicole’s books and I forgot how much I love her characters in each book. The people on the covers make the characters come to life especially the men. I think that’s part of the reason I love her books so much because all the books I have loved the men on the covers were beautiful and sexy. I also always love the females as well. She always makes them strong and bold. Her writing has a way of drawing you in from the beginning and there is always some suspense to go with her stories which make her books so much more engaging. I couldn’t put this book down once I started reading Sam and Nova’s story. Thank you for another great book. Until next time.
