Wow ich bin einfach noch immer sprachlos und überwältigt. Ich habe so viele Serien gelesen und es wird nicht langweilig. Im Gegenteil es wird mit jeder Serie spannender und ich kann es kaum erwarten wie es mit Flour und Bastian weitergeht. Ich bin schon gespannt welche Serien noch kommen. Penelope Sky hat ein Händchen dafür. Und am meisten liebe ich wenn alle Serien eine Verbindung zueinander haben.

Love at first reading
[...]Bastien and Fleur have such great chemistry together. From the first page I read Penelope kept me engaged. It was a bit of a fast paced emotional read but not a bad fast paced. I enjoyed the build up of their relationship with each other. Fleur not backing down from her stance with her husband’s cheating made me love her. I cannot wait to see where Bastiens relationship with his brother goes and how the divorce with Fleur and Adrien goes. I love the intertwining storylines Penelope has in her books! Bravo Penelope on another great series!! Spicy level 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🌶️ romance level ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

[...]Bastien, lord how do I even begin. This book was so freaking hot. I need Bastien in my life STAT.He is the quintessential bad boy, like literally is the head of the Fifth Republic (which is essentially all of the organized crime in France). But he has all the green flags. AND he falls first which 😍😍😍.He was so strong, supportive, loyal, honest which Fleur definitely needed. Fleur is broken and scared and he is her rock.The story was captivating and action packed. And the plot twist- I didn’t see that coming. Penelope writes these stories so well, you feel like you are actively in the book.I absolutely cannot wait to read the rest of this series!!!Dark, mafia, with all the spice (it starts at 10% and never stops). Set in Paris

[...]The Butcher has potential however there really wasn’t what I would consider a major conflict or at least it wasn’t given enough attention to be considered major. The Butcher was a very small portion of the tip of the iceberg and the story is not strong enough for me to want to continue it. The ending was also very abrupt and it did not leave me wanting more.

It’s been awhile for me and why did I wait?!
[...]I haven’t read a Penelope Sky novel in a long time and I sit here wondering why not?! I’ve never been disappointed and always enjoyed her writing so not sure what happened besides my reading style expanded to include other genres and I haven’t been back to this one in awhile. I loved both main characters in this story. Bastien is THE epitome of book boyfriend and confident hero. There is something about this particular kind of possessive alpha that just gets to me. I don’t know what that “it” factor is but it stands out among the growliest of the growls OTT men. They have this je ne sais quoi that others strive for but not quite achieve, I’ve only run into him in maybe 30 books over the course of thousands read. It’s somethin!!! Bastien is a man apart for SURE! Then we have the quietly strong AF heroine Fleur (I LOVE that name btw) who exudes a quiet strength that we could all hope to emulate. She was burned, badly in love therefore terrified to get back out there again. A beautiful soul with an outside to match. She was a very relatable character who you wanted to be friends with IRL. All in all this story was so good! I can’t wait til next month when book 2 comes out. I’m so glad my feed sent me this recommendation because I couldn’t read it fast enough! The heat was rough and intense for my tastes but still hot AF! The storyline gripping and action packed. I loved every minute. Looks like I need to start on Penelope’s back catalogue ASAP!!!

Gone or staying by sleep theory
[...]This book was such an incredibly fast read, but knowing there are two more installments coming after this makes me happy. I was worried about how fast paced the book was that there would not be good character development, however, I felt deeply connected to both of the main characters. I know this could be a very sensitive subject for some women going through the same events that the main female character was going through could be tough. But let me tell you that this is such a lovely trust redemption book there were times where the main male character Made me question his true mental stability, but overall definitely morally gray, but absolutely would kill someone for his woman, I would definitely give this a five out of five chili peppers because there was a ton of scenes and each one of them was very descriptive and enjoyable. I have read many titles from Penelope sky and I cannot think of one that disappointed me
